There is a lot of pressure put on us these days to always feel as though we should continually be doing something productive. As a consequence, free/spare/leisure time has become a stigmatised concept in busy workplaces and student life, because when you’re not working - you’re being unproductive.... 23.01.2022 Heads up, students! T1 announcement from University of New England, AU. Trimester 1 2021 coursework officially begins on Monday 1 March 2021 - lectures will be online.... UNE is planning for a cautious business-as-usual approach to on-campus activity in 2021. There will be a phased return to on-campus teaching across all of our campuses that ensures the safety of the UNE community without compromising the student experience. Campus facilities including, in Armidale, Dixson Library will be open to students. UNE Life services (that's us) including The Cafe & hospitality outlets, Sport UNE, Security & Transport, TUNE! FM 106.9, Advocacy & Welfare, The Shop, Belgrave Twin Cinema, and Sleek Hairdressing will all be open for you to use, with COVID restrictions in place. UNE will continue to provide updates as the COVID situation evolves and restrictions are adjusted or lifted. Steve Ahoy, the Aboriginal Cultural Advisor at FMS was there for many exciting discoveries; including several stone axes made from basalt. Incredibly these findings correspond with oral history past down through generation of his family...
