The Service Provider Small Business Representative will be responsible for representing Cisco to a leading service provider partner. Knowledge of the IT market and Cisco is an advantage. Be prepared to learn Cisco's competitive market environment and aim in the first 3 months to be about to raise market share through a strategic Customer/Responsibility/Activity. Position and promote Cisco products to Ciscos service provider partners sales and presales teams Drive preference for Cisco solutions to service providers end customers Provide Cisco-specific sales support including pricing and bill of material preparation. Deliver presentations and product training to customers and the service provider Identify and forecast new sales opportunities Influence sales opportunities Support technical product demonstrations Provide weekly opportunity forecast and activity report to Ciscos sales team Build very strong relationships with the service providers sales and support teams Engage in regular meetings with key contacts to drive Cisco preference Ensure the service providers sales and support teams are aware of available programs, promotions and product launches Skills Profile Suit an entry level into industry who has a passion for learning sales cycle in the IT Industry and can demonstrate they have had some experience in ICT industry Ability to influence Proactive self-starter Exceptional relationship building skills a must. This will include deploying switches, IP phones, Access Points, VXCs, cabling, and other end devices. Knowledge Required A solid understanding of layer 2 technologies. Configure standard ACLs in a medium-size enterprise branch office network, including defining filtering criteria, configuring standard ACLs to filter traffic, and applying... standard ACLs to router interfaces. Configure extended ACLs in a medium-size enterprise branch office network, including configuring extended ACLs and named ACLs, configuring filters, verifying and monitoring ACLs, and troubleshooting extended ACL issues. Describe complex ACLs in a medium-size enterprise branch office network, including configuring dynamic, reflexive, and timed ACLs, verifying and troubleshooting complex ACLs, and explaining relevant caveats.
