20.01.2022 Congratulations Amy on passing your driving test. You have done well. I'm not surprised because you progressed each time I gave you a practice test using the sheet that the Driving Examiners use. You remembered the method I taught you when we came to do Hill Start. It makes it so easy when someone explains this in simple terms and demonstrates how to do it as well. It will probably be a Fail in the Driving Test if the car rolls back at all.

18.01.2022 Hi everyone. David has had a stroke and is now in Rehab receiving therapy and physio to get him back on his feet. It could be a month or more before he is back to near his normal self and not sure when he will be allowed to be back driving. Not sure what the future holds at this moment. Our strong faith in God has enabled us to to rest in the hope of a good outcome, we just have to be patient and trust the care of the excellent Doctors, nurses and therapists who are looking after David at this time. He has not lost his sense of humour and is giving cheek to the nurses, always a good sign. Christine McKerrell

17.01.2022 Keeping left and overtaking Keeping left On single-lane roads, you must stay as close as practical to the left side of the road.... On multi-lane roads, if the speed limit is 90km/h or more, or if the road has a keep left unless overtaking sign, you must not drive in the right-hand lane unless you are: overtaking turning right making a U-turn avoiding an obstruction driving in congested traffic using a special purpose lane that you are allowed to be in. Drivers are allowed to overtake on the left on all multi-lane roads. Video of keeping left Watch this short video to learn more about keeping left and overtaking.

11.01.2022 During my 1st lesson with David, I felt so relaxed and calm, I could not believe it after an unhappy experience with my previous driving school. David was so patent that I was very happy to stay with him right up to the point when I got my P's 1st.time. David gave me some easy points to remember when doing a reversing exercise. He also taught me how to do a U turn at the end of a street without hitting the kerb in front. Thank you so much for everything. i would recommend anyone to Universal Driving School. Tanisha from Mango Hill.

10.01.2022 Pokemon GO players are doing it on the go, theyre even doing it when driving. Watch out for distracted drivers every where. There are now more than ever. The phenomenon has once again taken Australia by storm, even in our cars. This is a great new concept designed to get Gamers out and about. Lets not play while driving. When stopped at the traffic lights, it might be a huge temptation to capture Pokemon nearby, but at what cost? Distraction or inattention is now the bigges...t cause of accidents on our roads. Drink driving was once but distraction has taken over. Our addiction to devices is killing us on the roads, but phones and other devices are a huge part of our lives. We really need to learn how to manage them wisely and responsibly. You could try turning off the phone but no-one does that. What works is keeping your phone out of reach and out of sight. Put it in your bag or in the glove box. If its also on silent and you will never know there is a notification and you definitely wont know there are Pokemon nearby. Why would you play Pokemon and drive? Every one knows it is dumb to text and drive; so why would you play Pokemon and drive? Getting out and about is great but I think the plan was to have people walking. Drivers may have heard about text walkers and drink drivers, now make sure to watch out for Pokemon drivers as well. By all means get out and about, do it on the go, just not while driving. Walk and the benefits are great. Drive and it can cost you heaps. It could cost so much more than a few missed Pokemon. Three demerit points and $300 +. Crashing your car will cost much more. What if you injure someone in an accident, you will remember it for the rest of your life. Get fit, get social, get walking just please dont do it while driving.

06.01.2022 Congratulations Eileen from Fitzgibbon I was so happy when I passed my driving test with David and got my Ps FIRST time with NO mistakes at all. I just couldnt believe it. He taught me how to do a U turn at a street on the right and what to line up with my shoulder before I made the U turn. David demonstrated it first and showed me in 3 easy steps so that I finished in the right place ready to turn left. He also showed me where to stop when I was at a red light, and what to line up so I didt go over the line. it was so simple and easy, something I will always remember.I will certainly recommend David at Universal to all my friends. He was such a great help to me. I still cant believe I passed my driving test first time with NO mistakes, Yes Yes!!
