25.01.2022 Congratulations to Yin and Zusan on their nuptials amongst family and friends on 16th March 2019. It was a splendid day with very overcast conditions - great for photography. Yin and Zusan held their cosy ceremony under the Pavilion area with all essential support provided by volunteers; and tables, chairs and sound provided by Unidus. 24.01.2022 Mamana Academy of Tongan Arts and Culture held their annual performance event at Unidus Community Centre on the 14th September 2019. It was a night to remember with the Princess of Tonga, Princess Ltfuipeka the special guest of the night, and was presented with a display of Tongan dance and arts. 24.01.2022 We welcome Gujarati Community Queensland back to Unidus Community Centre again for their annual Diwali event. The performance by all ages and with different dancing styles were wonderfully performed, and combined with the dinner meals supplied by the organiser, made the whole event a true festival! 21.01.2022 A very exciting day on 11th May 2019 with Aussie Fairs headed up by Allan Lawson introducing the world of collectables to the local community. Visitors of all ages made their way Unidus Community Centre between 9am and 2pm and on show were a vast array of antiques, fine art, hard-to-find collectables, china, plus much more. 16.01.2022 Congratulations to Jeremy and Mona on a glorious day for the Wedding Ceremony and Reception on 13th April 2019. It was setup wonderfully with clear blue skies for this fantastic occasion. The bride and groom decided on Unidus Community Centre for its private location, ample spaces and for great separation from the reception space. All making for a one-venue location! The Ceremony was situated under the Pavilion for a great outdoor undercover space. Organised with an centre ai...sle and Americana hairs with wonderful floral accents, it made the space inviting but secluded. As depicted below, the couple used the outdoor spaces well for photoshoots, particularly with the hotted-up cars as settings for the bridal party. Inside, the Main Auditorium is really where celebrations began with the dance floor a showstopper for the newlyweds. Combining the vast floor space, it was decked out with beautiful table and seating arrangements surrounding the dance floor, all for showcasing the couples traditional and cultural dances, and of course presenting the couple! Unidus provided all sound, lighting and video equipment and together with the couples external decorators. It was a very intimate and cosy setting with extravagant decorations to make use of the architectural features of the main auditorium. Around 400 guests attended with very decorative table setting and features, whilst the stage was presented to showcase the happy couple with some tradition exchanges and cutting of the cake. 16.01.2022 Congratulations to Joseph and Concy on their nuptials! Held in the Main Auditorium, the lovely couple held their reception on the 6th of April 2019. All decorations, table and chair setup were arranged by the couple and done the day prior. Unidus provided simple lighting and concert sound system for the dance party afterwards. Aditya enquired with us through our friendly enquiry form and within a few days we had everything organised for his celebration. The organisers came to us with little lead time though we perfectly accommodated to their requirements with short notice. Unidus provided basic stage lighting and seating arrangement. 05.01.2022 Karaili Brisbane put on quite a show for their anniversary. The night was fill with so much activity, from inside and outside. Guests were treated to some fantastic singing and dancing throughout the 5 hour show, complemented by the freshest and tastiest food, cooked right on the the premises. For its finale, a 10-minute fireworks display capped the night off, preceded by some of the best Japanese drumming displays as well.
