Check out our little sister project... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... #Repost @transparency.by.unified.theory Whilst on our break and in our set-up phase we're getting out and about to some of the coolest coffee joints around. And @origamicoffeemallacoota is hands down, one of the damn coolest venues ever. Takeshi is the owner, head barista and a local legend. Everything about his humble, yet beautiful... and welcoming site speaks strongly to our core beliefs of sustainability, industry duty of care and product passion. He has carefully chosen @dukes_coffee as his supplier and takes great dilligence in crafting his brews to delicious recipes. You have to understand the town's demographic and geographic seclusion from the boutique coffee industry to fully comprehend what Takeshi has achieved. This is not the type of town you would envisage a specialty coffee shed (!) popping up and becoming an institution. But it has, and is! Everything is recycled and/or composted - cups, lids, spoons, stirrers, bottles, caps etc. You are asked to return any of your take away wares so Takeshi can ensure their correct recycling/composting. Brilliant! The upscaling of items such as wooden stirrers into a crafted group handle rack to sit on his Brewista scales is genius and is this is the essence of the whole place. Well done mate. So glad to meet you. Can't wait to get back and drink your delicious brews again soon. Oh... and yes, the beautiful garden surrounds are perfect for those (toddlers) who love a run and a dance aka our little Lucy. See more

02.01.2022 Yet another amazing example of the delicious brews we're drinking while on our break! A pink Bourbon varietal from Huila, Colombia - The William Muños. Roasted by @woodandcocoffee, it's a stunner! Rich stonefruit and a melon juiciness. Fantastic!
