25.01.2022 Due to COVID-19, Unihealth Playford has implemented some new restrictions around the clinic. We have had several door closures including SA Pathology and the Teaching and Training/Allied Health department. Our SA Pathology entrance from inside the clinic has had to shut, however, you can still enter the pathology centre via the outside glass door which is opposite On the Run service station on Unity Way.... You may also notice the adjoining glass door between our front reception and allied health reception in the Teaching and Training department closed. This is to help minimise traffic between the buildings, ensure patient safety and avoid cross contamination. If you are needing to come to an Allied Health appointment (including Podiatry, Exercise Physiology, Dietician and Diabetes Educator) then please use our 252 entrance on Curtis Road. These numbers are written above the entrance doors if you are unsure. Please keep in mind that these closures are solely for the safety of everyone that enters the clinic as we are screening ALL patients with the necessary criteria. Please be patient with our reception staff as we endeavour to keep everyone as safe and free from COVID-19 as much as possible. Thank you

17.01.2022 With COVID-19 restrictions gradually easing, Unihealth Playford are now back to conducting face-to-face appointments for our Chronic Disease Management (CDM) patients. The Chronic Disease Managment services on the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) enable GPs to plan and co-ordinate the health care of patients with chronic or terminal medical conditions, including patients with these conditions who require multidisciplinary, team-based care from a GP and at least two other hea...lth or care providers. A chronic medical condition is one that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer, for example, asthma, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, musculoskeletal conditions and stroke. If this is you, phone Unihealth Playford today on 8254 4500 to book a general consultation with your GP.
