14.01.2022 Who watched last night’s amazing thunderstorm as it rolled across Adelaide? Danning, a ULCG resident, managed to snap a few pictures of the view from our building. Who else got photos? Post them in the comments!

10.01.2022 Did you know it’s wellbeing month? Something that’s good for lots of our wellbeing is small chunks of time spent sitting, being calm and observing nature. The annual Aussie Bird Count is a good way to increase your time outside while also contributing to a 'greater good'. What is it?... An annual citizen science event where you can sit for 20 minutes in your ‘neighbourhood’ and record birds you see, submit your count through an app or the website. The #AussieBirdCount is a great way to connect with the birds in your backyard no matter where your backyard happens to be a suburban backyard, park lands, a patch of forest, down by the beach, or the main street of town. You can count as many times as you like over the week and in different places, we just ask that each count is completed over a 20-minute period. The data collected assists BirdLife Australia in understanding more about the birds that live where people live. When? 19-25 October 2020 this week! Where is all the information https://aussiebirdcount.org.au/ including a video on how to count the birds.

02.01.2022 To celebrate World Pasta Day, last Friday night we held a pasta cooking demonstration. Approximately 15 residents attended and we learnt how to cook 3 delicious pasta dishes: - kangaroo pasta bake - one pot vegetable pasta - cinnamon and brown sugar pasta... Huge thanks to Cheryl & Georgia from Food Tours Australia - Adelaide Central Market Tours for coming along to share their expertise with us! Comment below if you’d like to offer a suggestion for our next cooking class! #unilodgecitygardens #atcitygardens #adelaidestudents #studentaccommodation #universitystudents #studenthousing #studentliving #adelaideloves #adelaidecentralmarket #foodtoursaustralia
