08.01.2022 Well thats a wrap, 6 months to the day that I had my accident and life went decidedly pear shaped. It was last drinks at work today to celebrate 10 of the best years working along side my beautiful daughter. It was a hell of a time for you Charmaine with COVID rules not letting you visit me in hospital before I was flown to John Hunter for emergency surgery. You stepped up to run the business while I recovered and then dealt with the stress of the massive undertaking of clos...ing the store down when it was clear I wasn’t going to return to work. I know it’s a time of change and upheaval for you but you are my champion and biggest supporter and the skills you have learnt over the past decade as the manager will stand you in good stead for the future. To the wonderful staff I have had the pleasure of working with over the years Gail, Chris and Shane thank you. An absolutely massive shoutout to Karen for going above and beyond with your help and support over the past 6 months in particular, you where a rock to me but especially for Charmaine. To my awesome bookkeeper Julie thankyou for creating order out of my chaos you deserve a medal! To the amazing friends I made on this journey from my gorgeous work husband Todd and beautiful work wife Kelly your support and friendship has been invaluable. There are to many others to name individually, from the other amazing owners of Vast stores, suppliers, reps, media staff and of course my fantastic customers.
