25.01.2022 A few pics of the old ( soon new ) chassis rail & extra bits back from blasting... for the 83 Crusier ute Any bare metal MUST be treated immediately & sealed NOTE ... if u put 1 finger on a bare metal surface.. the sweat, & crap from your skin & pawws will go rusty ...VERY important wear gloves DO NOT TOUCH bare metal & seal immediately or the hole process is pointless Unfortunately if u do touch it u won’t realise till 1-2 years later then it’s to late. As for a respray c...an b upwords of 20,000$ sad to redo work for a finger print on metal Now powder coating is ok ( tougher than 2pac ) BUT not as tough as RAPTOR ute liner .. so that was sprayed on first to SEAL the bare metal, than rustproofed Few rust repairs but for almost 40 years old .. pretty good , front of chassis rails were a bit bend but being a panel beater for 25+ years ... a walk in the park to straighten rails to factory specs LOOKING AWESOME

24.01.2022 Hi all , SAD FEW WEEKS... being coping a bit of criticism past 2 weeks because I haven’t being answering phone VERY good reason a end of a WAR legend, best 101 year old grandfather, would of being 102 this year What a life ... great & great great grandad , except most of my half family just left him to rot in his home EXCEPT my mum & father, desley & Ron ...ALL u OTHER pricks u know who u r , I hope your kids do the same to u Sadly he had a slip fell hit his head & ble...eding to the brain What a champion, he could still walk , have a beer & some good old jokes with the pain they went though in the war days , loosing his mates , but would still be a happy old fella LEGEND ... what they sacrificed for us to live our easy life’s NOW / but the bad generation now , put them in the army ... HE got kicked out of his retirement home in fire season in carramar, slept on the chair @ leisure centre, still happy when picked him up ( grandad des Anderson ) one with his arm up ( STILL IN GREAT SPIRITS) know in lock down he couldn’t go see the few things he wanted to do .... THANKS CHINA Unique is back open with a new office lady & a apprentice panel beater / painter ( training to b Unique like me ) funny GOOD 23 year old kid out of army due to COVID-19 WE ALL LOVE u GRANDAD specially little ruby red lips & me ... we see your BRIGHT star every night ( except clouds ) love u legend ... REST IN PEASE with grandma

22.01.2022 Tomorrow will be putting this tonka back together .. what a beast & almost 6hrs masking up a 15,000$+ conversion suspension kit & mods . i will post more lovly electronic RUSTY 4x4s tomorrow & even a kabota tractor that see’s no salt water .. bed time , thanks people for looking @ posts i would love to here some feed back on anything your not sure on or any questions .. sometimes might take a day or 2 to return but work is more important

20.01.2022 Rangers & BT-50 would have to be the best 4x4 to rustproof, NOT comparing sizes lads .25 + years doing it I know what I’m doing . being saying how good they r to pull apart when the new shape come out back in 2011-12 to current, when panel beating ... I haven’t done a BRAND new shape BT-50 2021 yet , I’m ready for the challenge people Price range 890$ for all utes that size ..RAPTOR rustproofing from 1800$ with warranty ONLY heavy duty rustproofing tho ... . yes I’m about 150$-200$ more than some Company’s for basic rustproofing FULL BODY & if out of price range I would only recommend R&D Detailing/ rustproofing .. Ron & desley ,I do everything & I’m sorry but it’s a 2 day job for my process ... loan car coming SOON ... please folks SAVE your money on electronic rust systems..WHY ... my next post will be Electronic rust systems VS rustproofing... guess who comes out with flying colours from same years , same models & BEACH WORK ... I’ll post early next week

20.01.2022 It’s a Sunday but time to RAPTOR the floor on the cruiser,it’s not original but will protect it for the next 40 + years .... ALL I CAN say is the monkeys that done this restoration should have there doors closed & sued & I feel sorry for anyone who had there cars done there I had to remove all the stone matting on floor to repair the RUST they were hiding with stone guard matting JUST LAZY MATE ... VERY bad workmanship ... Last few pics is what BACK YARD shops do ,not apparently professional shop ... put a hole heap of seam sealer over rust ... WHY WHY WHY it’s such a original old shell & u do that to it seriously 1 extra day to fix properly, this is why @ Unique it will take how ever long it takes , done once / correct the first time all the time .. we do not rush jobs Hopefully post finished product tonight if I’m not to stuffed

19.01.2022 dodge rams . Ram owners be warned. We rustproofed a new ram few months ago & let’s say I was SHOCKED , pulling it apart for rustproofing & the conversion company had a shocker... again we are the only company who takes this off & I wonder how many more RAMS are the same pull the kick trims off front floors & I see grinding sparks going rusty then lift carpet and WOW already rusting to the floor , 2nd place pull wiper panel up & here is a BARE metal plate they converted for brake booster to fit . 3rd spot rust over diffs , chassis parts & I could keep going ... owner was not happy & not good for a 70k + truck

19.01.2022 Electronic rust systems ... if u get scammed into buying 1 .. the money that you use to buy electronic u might as well go to toilet & wipe your bum with 8 separate hundred dollar notes ... they r absolutely SHIT & do nothing except cause more electroloiss & creates more rust ... then u the poor owner have a rusty car from false advertising as its all a money maker ... i could fit them @ Unique but WHY and if i did i would not sleep @ night knowing i just ripped you off ... th...ey must get outlord here is a perfect example ...electronic & clear coat from car yard when new ... works well NOT ... this has been around australia with so many dirt roads , it chips then they come to the coast for 1 year and this is the out come ... this ute has not seen salt water as its not rusty like a beach car ... in seems etc but even so rust is always there now as we can only clean up so much & rust converter ONLY slows it down but still grows

17.01.2022 NEW heavy duty raptor rustproofing ONLY @ Unique Noosaville After 25 years of rustproofing , 4x4s r popular than ever , now seeing what happens to 4x4s with standard rustproofing- works well & STOPS RUST ... but wears off in time with beach / gravel roads etc NO MORE with 21st century products & methods ... 16.01.2022 Hey all it took me a week for post but finally can post the 200 beast ... so this is bit of a custom job ( unique ) rustproofing process with 5x materails, extra day masking EVERYTHING up but been brand new spend a hour cleaning up surface rust( only a little .. normal on new cars). & been a 1300,000$ 4x4 we don’t rush ... do it once , do it correctly.. this was JUST a under body but we still do sills & radiator support panel as it’s not a full time beach vehicle .... some bolts for heavy duty under body smash plates were a allen key head .. not good as they r flat & if they hit something u will have to drill them out as the allen key hole gets smashed so we replace to high tencile zinc bolts .. owner was over the moon

12.01.2022 Another 3 casualties this week ... 1 of 3 gary cricks STUPID rust protection process...Electronic rust systems In 30 years i have NEVER seen any rust system work .. so how can they still sell a product that does absolutely nothing ... they need to be outlord.. 1 word for the car yards & people who sell & fit them ( dodgy )all they do is give people faulse security & hope .... go enjoy our awesome beach then 2-3 years later they have too spend 3 times as much money as electronic cost to fix rust & do what has been done for over 60 years RUSTPROOF & in other posts no problem with rust

10.01.2022 This month we have had 9 with electronic with some clear coat ( must b magic & invisible ) & NONE are good ... the difference between this rust to last post as I explained .. RUST in the seems in chassis rails ( inside ) were you certainly dont want rust so this 4x4 post has seen salt water & pretty shagged compaired to last post alot of suface from salt air and probably beach but no salt water

07.01.2022 Why we do what we do @ Unique Brand new cars unless we do what we do & do everything, rust is already there on BRAND NEW 4x4s , the new 79 series Toyota’s r the worst with NO paint were welds have being done on diffs & rails Example, BRAND NEW Pajero with 250kms virtually straight from dealer to us ... Also why we r a little bit dearer than my competitor down the coast , & it’s why on average we use about 24litres of rustproofing per car , ceramic heat paint for rotors & Exausht flange welds , worth rust converter to treat surface rust , NOT many shops can say your car is better than new now Remove front guard liner as per 2 pics it’s starting with spots of rust on the structural welds , all trims removed NO HOLES r ever drilled , big no no ,removal of all front lower smash/ bash plates , as the pics the extent of prep to do great quality work which is why it takes 2 days , working on a LOAN CAR for customers soon , we don’t just spray & hit & miss like u get from car dealerships , as 2 BIG dealerships have approached me to do there clear coat rustproofing & electronic systems, after me telling them is all I do is repair rust because of there methods, unfortunately people it’s about money & not your pride & joy , so NO THANKS i can’t sleep @ night if it’s there way .SO I will if it’s my way , old school , but haven’t herd back

07.01.2022 Just another month @ Unique , bit sick this week TOO much working Nothing we can’t do This very nice old Daimler had the rear door rusted out , obviously for a car 60+ years old ... parts are very rare ... So I can bend & fabricat any panel that can be welded to get back to as original as can be Quick tip... for you back yardys ... you will NEVER match 60year old paint SPOT ON .. so for a older car best just to do the hole side to the original spec Now u can blend but being old it doesn’t look good blending over stone chips, cracks & dints ... so do your self a favour & repair & paint the hole side EVEN FOR 1 panel ... then later it can be matched if u have no more colour left WHY ... do it properly ONCE ... & all these lovely old cars are EVERY body’s little piece of history or brings back memory’s of the old days for ALOT of my customers Now the owner of this is 80 & to see him get SO EXCITED picking it up , it’s like ...remember when u got your license for the first time ... SO EXCITING... this old fella @ 80 was just like that STILL ...good on ya David

06.01.2022 Well finally home & finished the floor on the original beast ...LOOKS almost original but 10times tougher if people wondering why working Sunday , it never stops SO busy & already my 200m2 shed is too small , so looking at a new place already ... PLUS the landlord & realestate r a bunch of pricks because people r after quality NOW & don’t mind paying for high quality work WOW , or u can go down the road pay half the price & b fixing the same thing every year ... GREAT colour match from the boys @ Haymans paint place Noosaville with the RAPTOR tintable liner , Jason & jay will sort your colour out , great bunch of lads & very helpful 2 first pics before with the terrible matting , & now with RAPTOR liner , & repair the rust , chop , weld & sometimes a little bit of filler ... it will never to come off if prepared correctly , hole day of repairing, prep & masking , 30 mins to paint GOTTA LOVE IT But folks with this raptor if u do it @ home MAKE sure u use fine line tape for the edges as masking tape will tear & leave a SHIT line & tape gets stuck , hence FINE LINE TAPE , my is green ... EVERYTHING must b masked up as raptor gets on paint work , seats anything... GOOD LUCK getting it off ....

04.01.2022 HILUX OWNERS Morning all , BLOODY hopeless... being very busy I have no time for Facebook @ this present moment All Toyota hiluxs ... 2019-2020 model ... Done a brand new Ruggerd the other day & when I took rear door trims off for a rustproofing I was VERY shocked THE DOORS ARE FULL OF WATER ... any hilux owners if u hear water splashing around, PULL the BLACK water buns out of bottom doors & it will solve your problem Because on Sunshine Coast with so much salt air around the door will rust out in around 1 year Please call if u need any help or advice... JUST not though Facebook as per post I don’t have much time as work is more important

04.01.2022 I should of being posting more heavy duty raptor rustproofing as my NEW very happy ,the great lad of a customer in the RAPTOR patrol went from a few views to over 2200 in a week or too I had a 100 series cruiser come in about 2 months ago The customer Bought it from Brisbane , Toyota dealership saying it’s the best example of a Toyota cruiser in SE QLD ... because it had no beach work .. BOY the owner nearly had a heartache... from when I put it on the hoist ...... WOW car... sales men can sell a piece of shit for top dollar because all they car about is there commission... they said ... never being on the beach & had electronic rust system ... It did but as all my post electronic DOES NOT WORK PEOPLE ITS BULL CRAP & they should be illegal / outlawed as they keep getting sued for faulse advertising & selling something that does nothing I spend 3 days repairing rust ... due to the owner getting ripped off & I feel sorry for him so I won’t show the body OR which car it is as respect for the poor owner , now it’s the 5th 1 since I moved to new shed , the blokes dad in the RAPTOR patrol I done bought his BT 50 in for a rustproofing job , just bought it from Mazda NOOSA , I had to ..... RITE THE CAR OFF ..... very unsafe , lower control surspention bolts rusted & frozen stuck from rust ... it’s Unrepairable & 2 years old , but the rustproofing shop @ morochy said we can fix it ...2 years old & chucks of chassis rail falling off & rust holes in fire wall & pillars ,,, VERY DISAPPOINTING for a high end dealership .. I’m posting & shaming as the customer was sueing Mazda unless they replace... THANKS TOO Unique Sanded almost HOLE CHASSIS to BARE METAL & CROSS members back to bare metal as I can’t spray raptor on HEAVY RUST & surface rust ... well I can but I can’t sleep @ night knowing it will b back in 6 months for me to fix & it’s not our standard of work ... we look after locals as they keep coming back With the raptor process as it’s so thick it must still get rustproofing over it to get into all seams Tell ya what ... what a difference & NOW looks ready for hard core 4x4ing

01.01.2022 WOW just sore 2000 views for Uniques RAPTOR rustproofing I have heaps of pics for the heavy duty raptor rustproofing... just need more time ... But here’s what’s being happening @ Unique lately .. just 1 of plenty ... A beautiful old cruiser in for a rustproofing job only after a 25k restoration somewhere 1 year ago WHAT A BUNCH OF MONKEYS .... Look what I had to do to the poor old girl ... FULL STRIP down to send chassis off for sandblasting @ QLD blasting as I’m not set up for sandblasting till next year & TOWED by A BLACK TOWING NO BODY WORK has being done by us ... it’s not my quality of work ... JUST BOG IT UP I’ll do progress posts as it’s back & RAPTOR on it only & a quick fresh up of motor, EVERYTHING I put back on gets cleaned, painted & EVERY bolt replaced with NEW high tensile bolts, zinc & stainless to make this last another 60 years 1 Friday come in as a Ute & Monday it was getting towed for blasting... TOO EASY Tonight I’ll do a post on half it back together

01.01.2022 It’s great being a local in Noosa / local born in cooroy back in the day .. & NOW people r finally finding me & customers now know why I’m called Unique , nothing I can’t fix .. except engines But can remove them 1 of many jobs comes in for a simple detail / remove sign writing & paint rear bar , ( note not detailing anymore unless high value) quality So I removed sign writing & it’s faded that much it has left the logo on the car still ... RESPRAY 6 weeks later due to other work & makes it a TINY bit cheaper for the owners Even tho the customer is a hard ars which I’m sure some of you know him , the bloke was very happy & sold it with no problems
