21.01.2022 Martyn and I attended our first Murray Business Network event. Spent the night listening to the incredible achievements of gold medalist - Dylan Alcott... He's so much more than a sports star! What an all round down to earth guy with the best sense of humour! Could have listened to him all night!

18.01.2022 Since going out on my own to fight for the little guy, starting my own disabilty service (after previously working for large organisations and seeing people get lost as individuals in the big mix). I've been keeping my eye out for great resources, places and equipment that may benefit the families I am working with. I recently had the pleasure of driving one of 'Right Price Conversions' modified vehicles (a Kia Grande Carnival) and WOW! After years of finding people parking t...oo close to the back of a car or bus that needs room to unfold Ramps etc, or clunky other modified vehicles THIS WAS AMAZING! Love the way the floor drops down needing minimal space to do so. Easy to use belts etc and oh so beautiful to drive. Well done! Will be recommending you to anyone looking to update or purchase an accessible car and am even thinking of saving for one for myself instead of having to meet people catching a maxi taxi or their parents dropping off etc. Really am excited to finally see such a common sense product of good quality! 10.01.2022 Last week Chris and I headed over to Boort to be impressed by the creative talent of the Spanner Man. Wandered around beautiful gardens surrounding his sculptures, all made from different sized spanners. Then followed it up with lunch by the lake.

08.01.2022 Spent the morning at the Donkey Farm in Tongala. One of two places in Victoria rescuing donkeys and taking care of them. They do wonderful work! Including taking the donkeys to patients in hospitals etc to provide donkey/animal therapy! Took a client along with me and she absolutely loved it getting to pat 'Crumbles'. Also got to meet 4 week old little Maisy (SUPER CUTE), after being rescued from the Echuca Sale yards recently. Never new this place existed but what a wonderful group of people showing care and respect for these animals lives.

04.01.2022 I am all about expanding the usual range of ways to meet a person's goals using their own interests and skills. I love to create a Unique experience. Chris loves nature and woodwork. Noticed there was no Christmas tree, so we switched today's plans. Incorporated his interests and in the process we whipped this up in our 1.5hr session together. A quick trip to Bunnings for rope. A wander by the river collecting the right sizes branches from the bush floor, then assembled what we think is a modern and unique touch of Christmas. Called back later and it's proudly hanging near the door

03.01.2022 A touch of sensory/relaxation/massage. Family provides bowl, water and oils/scrubs/moisturisers suitable for their loved one- I provide some time out for family and some sensory touch with Footspa. Only a part of the day. This relaxation comes after 30 minutes supported on the treadmill and is completed with lunch out. Use your own ideas to get support the way you would like it. Contact Larissa at UBC on 0408557375.
