23.01.2022 After 8 months of torment from this coolroom randomly failing we finally got the go ahead to replace the existing condensing unit and relocate the new unit outside. Having already replaced the evaporator and trying to deal with the existing mismatched system we finally found a resolution. Still waiting for the colour bond weather cover and some colour matched flashing, but hoping this will finally put to bed 10yrs of drama for the kitchen staff.

21.01.2022 Pictures are a little deceiving.. this hand sized furry critter took on a compressor power transistor. Ultimately though we both lost .. because there was at least another 10 to 15 of these very angry creatures looking to seek vengeance on the first person that opened the unit panel. I got one with a right hook but many thanks to the client that saw me in distress and threw a can of bug spray .. bless you and ummm no charge !

14.01.2022 There's no point sinking the boot into other contractors installations without showing how we prefer to do things. Tucked away in the corner with a combined drain this one is quite neat. Being one of two we installed the other system was an upgrade from the very tired Fujitsu system.

05.01.2022 You know you are getting tired when it takes 3hrs to hot swap a cool room evaporator ! Although not every job goes as planned, we did hit a few hurdles on this one with what looks like a failing compressor - original evaporator had multiple refrigerant leaks. We still managed to squeeze in an evap cooler changeover on another site and be sitting down for a well deserved refreshment within 5hrs. Its that time of year folks !
