13.01.2022 Unique Kids Clinic is a paediatric therapy service, which offers Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. The Occupational Therapists use a Sensory Integration approach as well as the Developmental Individual Differences Relationship Model (DIR/Floortime). The clinic is a custom built space that creates a unique environment designed to foster imagination and interaction, improve movement and enhance learning and behaviour in each child. Services are provided to children from b...irth to 18 years with the following: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorders, attention disorders e.g. ADHD, regulation challenges, developmental disorders e.g. Down Syndrome, learning delay, coordination challenges (fine and gross motor) and neurological impairments e.g. Cerebral Palsy. Part-time hours can also be an option for the right applicant. Applications close Monday 16th November 2020

06.01.2022 APPRECIATION POST: Another year done and dusted. Let’s just say it was a strange one but this crew right here (including Ed) didn’t skip a beat. They took all the changes in their stride (and let’s be honest, there were a few) and did what they do best- support each and every one of the kiddies and families they treat. I can’t thank them enough for getting stuck into cleaning, sorting, filing and labelling the clinic over these past two days! Whilst it’s not a super fun job ...there were no complaints and the place looks spick and span! A big shout out to Indie and Haylee who are both finishing up with us at UKC. Haylee, your enthusiasm and energy will be missed around the clinic. I know you’re ready to take this next step though and expand your expertise in working with children. Enjoy and make sure you come visit when you need a break from the big smoke. Indie, your creativeness and willingness to take on the most intricate craft activities is unrivalled. Your love of glitter will be sorely missed as will your smiley face and stories about your beloved van. Enjoy your studies and we look forward to having you back for some of our social groups in January.
