25.01.2022 Hey guys! The USASA club awards 2020 nominations are now open and it would mean the world to us if you nominate our club for any of the categories. Weve only come this far because of your support and appreciation

24.01.2022 Just letting our members know that there is NO SGM today. We held it last Friday. Sorry for the confusion!

24.01.2022 CALLING ALL ARTISTS In collaboration with Artists Gamers Programmers United, we are holding a pixel art competition from the 6th of July to the 26th of July related to the theme Hero! With this theme, participants can choose to submit a picture of themselves, a superhero, family member or in light of this years events a healthcare worker or black icon that represents this theme best if nothing comes to mind. We thought pixel art would be easy for people... to grasp as well as give people an opportunity to try a new art style. The reward for our top 3 winners will be gift cards for Art Stretchers or Eckersleys. These will be valued at: 1st place: $50 2nd place: $30 3rd place: $20 To enter, all you have to do is email [email protected] with the subject line Art Competition and attach your submission(s). Participants are allowed 2 submissions maximum. You can also accompany each piece with a short description (up to 50 words). Please note that we will only be accepting ORIGINAL artwork and only one prize will be awarded per person. If you dont have any software to create pixel art, you can use the website linked below! Good luck!

As things gradually return to normal, wed like to take down numbers of interest in face-to-face club activities versus online ones for this semester. 04.01.2022 Following the theme of this weeks activity (i.e. drawing the last thing we watched), here are a couple of drawings done by our members during our AGM last week. They only had a minute to draw them. Can you guess what what they are???

03.01.2022 Hi everybody! This week we wanted to check in and ask something: What did you last watch? Since were all stuck inside, its quite likely that some of us have made use of this time to catch up on a season of our favourite show... or shows. You might have even watched some movies or spent hours browsing your YouTube recommended feed.... Whatever it is, we want YOU to draw and explain what happened in the last thing you watched. Theres a catch though - youve only got about 5 minutes. Itll be like a game of Pictionary. So set a timer and start drawing! Get clever with symbols, colours and shapes that best describe what you watched and submit your scribbles in our Facebook group! You can use whatever medium you want, so long as you create your drawings within 5 minutes. Were not looking for the next Pablo Picasso, but wed love to see your submissions and see if anyone can guess what it is!

03.01.2022 Well be up in about 5 minutes! Join us on Zoom via this link: https://unisa.zoom.us/j/94319634715
