01.01.2022 Final year OT Students, Madeline Young & Shania Roy who are currently completing their PCP Placement. Managing self isolation in a rural town Since arriving in Orroroo two weeks ago, we have completed a period of self-isolation in our accommodation. We’ve both found it to be a very different experience to what we had first anticipated during March when the idea was first proposed to us. Whilst it has been a challenge both living and working from home, we found that we have... been kept very busy with working on our PCP project but have also ensured that we set time aside to have our own space and down time as you would in a normal working situation. We have found general exercise outside in the fresh air and open spaces of the Flinders Ranges has been very beneficial in helping us look after our mental and physical wellbeing. We have also been very fortunate to have a support network made up of our families, friends, the DRH, Orroroo council & community, the Mid North Local Health Cluster, UniSA staff and our OT PCP cohort See more
