18.01.2022 Look on the bright pink side of life and you'll find yourself at Hutt Lagoon . Mother Nature definitely spent a lot of time crafting our gorgeous State as Broo...ke Blurton and Jarrad Seng Photography discovered on their trip around WA. This icon is a must-see for anyone travelling to Australia's Coral Coast! Catch it during different times of the day to observe its ever-changing hues from lavender purple to hot pink , you never know what nature will serve up. Book a seat on a scenic flight to check out these stunning views from up above and ponder just how magical this place is: https://bit.ly/2P4OWSb See more

16.01.2022 Discover your backyard in Australia's Coral Coast... Meet Mike, Parks and Wildlife Service, Western Australia's Senior Ranger for Kalbarri National Park. Mike s...pends his days surrounded by 186,000 hectares of pristine, rugged landscape where the Murchison River has etched its way through the landscape over the past 400 million years. From inland gorges to plunging coastal cliffs and the brand-new Kalbarri Skywalk sitting 100m above the Murchison River, Kalbarri National Park is an endless wonderland of beauty and adventure, waiting to be explored. This is Mike's backyard, and he can't wait to welcome you. There's never a dull moment in Kalbarri National Park with iconic sights like Nature's Window, Z-Bend Lookout and the new Kalbarri Skywalk; multiple walk trails and hike options of varying lengths and difficulties such as the Coastal Cliffs' Bigurda Trail or the inland Z-Bend and Loop trails; native Australian wildlife and seasonal wildflowers; and adventures like abseiling and kayaking. Kalbarri is a popular year-round holiday destination, but as we head into summer and the temperature continues to heat up here are some key tips to keep you safe when exploring the National Park: Wear a hat, sunscreen, loose clothing and sturdy footwear Take and drink lots of water Go earlier in the day, when temperatures are cooler Explore with a local tour operator - not only do you get to discover the National Park in new and exciting ways, you also benefit from their knowledge and experience Hikers are recommended to go in the cooler months (May to October), hike early in the morning, and carry and drink at least 3 to 4 litres of water per person per day. Note that the Loop Trail is closed after 7am from November to March inclusive Whether you're looking to relax and reconnect with nature, get your legs working or adrenalin pumping, when you #WanderOutYonder along the Coral Coast Highway make sure to allow ample time to explore this stunning and ancient National Park. We recognise and acknowledge Nanda people as the traditional custodians of Kalbarri National Park. 05.01.2022 Gotta hand it to you Kalbarri! We know you guys have been getting pounded by the influx of visitors the last few months, but you are all doing an awesome job o...f delivering great experiences. Were from Margaret River and been here a week and just had one fabulous experience after another. It started with a stuff up leaving an important piece of camp equipment at home. We tried the camp store but theyd sold out. They then referred us to the BP service station and sure enough they had what we needed. Great example of a small business helping out another small business with the referral. Wed have never thought a BP would have what we want without the suggestion. We had a bunch of other similarly positive experiences, especially in the restaurants, but the icing on the cake was meeting Peter at the Post Office. What a legend! Turns out I also left my camera battery charger at home. After unsuccessfully trying all the hotels and motels to see if they had any in their lost property, they kept referring me to the Post Office. I got the impression the Kalbarri Post Office can solve anything. And sure enough they can. Peter just happens to have the very specific piece of camera battery charger at home. So he goes home to loan it to me for the long weekend. Thats a level of customer service that goes so far above and beyond anything you will experience in a city and something you should all be very proud of. Double thumbs up to you Kalbarri .

01.01.2022 We are at the start of a long summer season here in Kalbarri this means in the Kalbarri National Park inland river gorges, THE LOOP TRAIL 8Km, will now need ...to be commenced no later than 7am (Loop Trail Only, we still strongly recommend all extended time in the park to be undertaken early on hotter days ). This is to ensure the person safety of the individual, to protect against dehydration and to prevent the need to call out the local rescue crew #heatkills #stayhydrated #leaveearly #travelsafely @rs__louie See more
