22.01.2022 ' ! , ... - WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa WaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh. It has been some time since last update but, in the background, vigorous endeavours had been going on to prepare paperwork/plans for council approvals. Now plans are submitted with council and process will take its due course. So far, we have received positive feedback from all fronts. On the parallel , financial statements are being prepared for year 2015-16 leading to annual audits. Financial statements will be made public once they are ready. With WaheGuru Ji's blessings and your support this project of having a custom built Gurudwara Sahib is on right track and will soon enter into its next stage. Many thanks for your continued support. 17.01.2022 First Anniversary Update: WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa WaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh. Sadh Sangat Ji, it has been one year since Sangat started this project to Purpose Built a conventional styled Gurudwara Saheb in Adelaide. It has happened for the first time in South Australia, that 20,000 Sq Mts (5 Acres) of land was purchased by Sangat for the sole purpose of building Gurudwara Sahib. As you are aware, Development application is already with Council so that Sangat can start congregations ...making sure that most of the land stays available at Sangat's disposal to develop in future as Sangat decides. Sangat has put trust in humble sevadars to work on these plans, and team is working selflessly & tirelessly to deliver what is a profound need of the community, this hour. Our community needs ample parking, children's play areas, Gatka training area, etc, along side Gurdwara Saheb. We can understand the impatience some of our brothers and sisters may show but as it's said 'Rome was not built in a day', these projects take time and efforts. You have given us this responsibility to work for community that's why no President, Secretary, Treasurer, etc. were designated so that team can focus solely on the tasks ahead and nothing is left to chances of 'Kursi' (Pardhanagi) fight. Every sevadar is committed to give time from busy lives, as we all are, that's how we have come this far. United Sikhs of South Australia Inc. takes pride in being as transparent as a community oriented, Not for Profit Organisation should be. We have nothing to hide as we are not doing it for our personal selves, you as Sangat blessed us with this responsibility which changed priorities even in our personal lives. Please feel free to ask, advise or guide us as we are acting on your behalf. WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa WaheGuru Ji Ki Fateh. See more

13.01.2022 - 24-10-2017 I I I ... I ‘ ’ I , I I Sangat is kindly informed that Salisbury Council has decided not to grant approval to the development application for new Gurudwara Sahib at Globe Derby Park at 24/10/2017 DAP meeting. This decision doesn’t mean a dead end but we will have to look at other options including lodging an appeal against this decision. Sangat is aware that it took a lot of time & effort to prepare and submit so many reports/documents requested by council since the start of the process. But the outcome was not as expected. A General Meeting will be held soon where all the information pertaining to the application process will be put in front of Sangat. Date, time and venue will be shared with Sangat once arrangements are made. All the sevadars are totally committed to the project and will continue to work tirelessly towards this Gurudwara Sahib project.
