24.01.2022 Come and join us this Saturday 3rd of August at AIIC for some bubble tea and mouth watering savouries. Help us raise money to purchase a hand pump for the people of Bo in Seirra Leone. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

23.01.2022 Asslamualikum . A big thank you to all those who contributed in making the well project a success. Alhamdulilah we were able to collect $5066 for the well project. The project is work in progress. We had collected nearly $2000 from the fete at Muslim School last year September. The rest of the money was from contributions given by people. We also raised money by distributing sadaqah tins to our students at our Madrassa in Inala. The above was the existing well. Our aim was to collect the money and purchase a hand pump so that water is easily accessed for the people.

SPEAKER: Sister Maryam Saeed is based in Sydney and has studied: - Qur'an, Hadith, Sciences of Qur'an & Hadith, Comparative Fiqh and Theology. She has studied from many institutions like Al-Huda Institute, Al Maghrib Institute, Al Kauthar Institute and IOU. She has Ijaazah in Riwayah of Hafs An Asim and is currently pursuing 10 Qira'aat Ijaazah. Furthermore, she is Tafseer & Arabic Grammar Teacher at Al-Huda International Canada, US & Australia. She is the regional Coordinator of Al-Hua's Australian Chapter & Manages the IT Department for Al-Huda Online.

08.01.2022 currently this is the work that has taken place with the well. " The well wasn't deep enough for the hand pump, so they decided to remove the cement and dig deep. They used machine to dry the water and dig more. There was a flood , which slowed the work in progress. Recently, they did the cementing of the well. They are going to cover it for few days to dry before any other step. The well has been covered today and chloronise. They are to make drainage right round. The pump will be fixed after one week to observe the water in the well. I received the above pictures last week. So far this has been the progress of the well project. Inshallah we will keep everyone informed as the work progresses.
