06.01.2022 Sarah loves her new visual aids. Sarah’s O.T. Dayle from Therapy 4 Life contacted me and arranged for us to have a meeting together to work out which visual aids would be appropriate for Sarah. It was a great meeting with Mum & Sarah involved too. Sarah now has a personalised weekly magnet board, a morning routine board with Velcro’s, personalised labels with her photo and name on them, silicone shoelaces and 3 recipes from our current library. Sarah’s favourite recipe was the soup. Sarah was also pretty excited to see her photo and name on some labels. When she begins to use her weekly magnet board she will love that too. The morning routine is designed to help her to be more independent and guide other people that are supporting her when her Mum for whatever reason is unavailable. We also looked at some apps for her iPad.
