23.01.2022 United for Care is a young and fresh NDIS provider who provides disability-specific supports to people. As a Disability Support Practitioner, your primary role is to provide a safe and engaging environment for participants. We are about to open a disability support apartment block to support people to move from hospitals or justice programs and become integrated into a community. We will support them to navigate the complex NDIS environment and support them to find a long-te...rm home where they can truly thrive. We think the people that will be moving into our apartments are likely to have mental health, medical issues, minor physical supports and social support needs, Your daily role is to create and maintain an environment that our participants find safe. You will get to help participants to become more independent and involve them in all daily activities and tasks around the home. You will be supported to help us achieve this by participating in a detailed onboarding program. You will have access to participant-specific plans that enable them to live their lives and achieve their goals. We will also offer you further development training that allows you to grow your skill set and earning capacity.
