11.01.2022 An 80 meter reel for pushing down conduits that are either empty or have no copper wire in them (could have optic fibre though) is essential to trace conduits locations from above with a transmitter and receiver. The client was very Specific about the details he required, particularly around the joining of the new and old slabs. He needed to know if Dowell bars had been installed correctly as per the builders instructions. We were able to scan across these joins with our Concrete Scanners and very quickly gave him the information onsite, as well as in a follow up written report with our findings. 05.01.2022 United Scanning use the T60 Fluke Infrared Red camera (IR camera) to locate hot water pipes that have been placed within a concrete slab or wall, where (GPR) Ground Penetrating Radar Detection, has not been able to confirm the exact location and of the pipe, or we want to make certain of our findings. The camera can be used in a wide variety of methods to determine the locations of all sorts of services and hidden objects, simply by finding the slightest variance in temperature of the object and its surroundings. We cant give too much away, but were told this is one of the biggest concrete scanning jobs in the world so far - were pretty chuffed!
