22.01.2022 It is with greiving hearts that we note the death of Karen Beard, pastor at C3 church in Forster Tuncurry and loving wife to Roger. Karen had a real love for her Lord and for the gospel. Her kind heart will be greatly missed. The prayers of our congregation are with Roger, their family and the congregation of C3 Forster Tuncurry.

15.01.2022 In our continuing efforts to help the good folk at Rainbow Flat, we are looking at installing a Street Library within the community. At present we have two old, refurbished fridges in front of our Tuncurry Church which are doing this job admirably, so we thought a fridge would do just as well at Rainbow Flat. The two donated fridges we had lined up didn't work out, so we are on the look out for an old, full sized fridge that could be used. Obviously it doesn't have to work but it would be good if it was in good condition, such as no rust. If you can help, let me know, we and Rainbow Flat would be very grateful. The picture below is our fridges / library at Tuncurry

10.01.2022 Here's a Facebook page that's worth checking out. It's the youth initiative for the Uniting Church. Have a look at the "Calm Down" segments, they interview some great guests, Hughesy, Joh Griggs and Mark Humphries Yvie Jones from Gogglebox gets a gig also.

09.01.2022 We are looking at re-commencing our worship services soon, but in the meantime I thought it was worth remembering the God we worship is not confined to any building!

05.01.2022 Following our call out a few weeks ago, and the great response we received, of people wanting to donate fridges, we are proud to say that the street library at Rainbow Flat was installed yesterday. What a great addition for the community, we hope you get a great deal of joy from it. Thanks to Naomi at 1 Kiwarrak Drive for allowing us to place it on her land, and to Christine for being the librarian in residence. ( wipes and gloves have been included in the library to help with COVID hygiene precautions)

05.01.2022 For Sale - Steel framed pews While we are not holding worship services in our Forster Church, we are taking the opportunity to update our carpet and chairs. As a result we have a number of steel framed, vinyl padded pews which we would like to find a good home for. ( only used by little old ladies on Sundays ) Details are: 22 pews of 2700mm in length $40 each 8 pews of 3600mm in length $60 each Pews are in good condition with vinyl not ripped or scratched, frames are not rusty. More than happy to look at bulk order discounts. If interested reply or telephone church office.

03.01.2022 It's great to be able to regather for worship today, all with social distancing. We took the chance during downtime to replace both the carpet and pews in our church. The good news is that the carpet is in and looks great ( thanks Carpet Choice Forster) but our chairs are stuck on the docks at Sydney due to the wharfie's industrial action. So for worship today it was a bring your own chair event. Still got to worship God, so all is good!!
