22.01.2022 2 DAYS Thank you to the Geelong Advertiser for your support of our Shine Blue campaign. Our article will be in Saturdays paper as we remember our little man, ...9 years on. Please join us and shine blue on Saturday. Wear something blue, write the number 9 on your hand, place it on your heart and take a photo. Share it with your social network. Thank you to everyone for your support over the last 9 years... It has been far from easy but every one of you has given us strength like you wouldn't believe. #9yearswithoutRiver #shineblue
21.01.2022 WELCOME TO THE WORLD ANGUS "When a rainbow appears, it does not mean the storm never happened, or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. Wha...t it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds. Storm clouds still hover, but the rainbow provides a counter balance of colour, energy and hope." Kathryn and Jared Barkla, 12 months ago on the 11/11/19 lost their beautiful girl Eloise to SIDS. This week, their world got a whole lot brighter with the arrival of baby Angus - a most precious gift in the midst of sheer devastation. Congratulations Kathryn, Jared and big brother Oliver on this beautiful new addition to your family. We know having a baby after loss isn't easy but please know that the entire River's Gift community are here for you, whenever you need us.

14.01.2022 Alexandra and Karl have become very special friends of ours and such amazing support over the past 12 months. We remember River tomorrow and always x
14.01.2022 The last month feels like everything is on hold until tomorrow. Tomorrow you will have been gone for a year. Today and the last month has been spent thinking about all the last things we did with you. ... The videos of you smiling, laughing and giggling that we can’t watch or the photos we can’t look at because we miss you being physically with us. 12 months ago today we last saw you smile, lie next to Oliver while he patted you on the head. Tonight was the last time you smiled at me, lay next to me and snored like you always did. We never got to say goodbye but know that we think of you everyday and know that you are with us. Watching from the stars and in the rainbows we know and feel your presence with us. Know Eloise that we are doing work in your memory to ensure your legacy lives on and you won’t be forgotten. Mummy, Daddy, Oliver and bump xo
