23.01.2022 Check out this really worthwhile pair of events coming up in August - focusing on discipleship for all ages, and using digital media in discipleship.

22.01.2022 Fie Marino led worship at Sydney Rotuman UC this afternoon. It was a wonderful experience of Rotuman culture and hospitality. Fie preached on the Gospel reading from Luke and the theme was "Are you alive?" he also took part in Holy Communion.

22.01.2022 Bradon French and Fie Marino facilitated the first UCA Synod NSW/ACT Second Generation Committee meeting. The commissioning service of the Second Generation Committee will be held on Thursday the 30th of June at 6:30pm, UTC 16 Masons Drive Paramatta North. The committee comprises of 30 young people from 13 different ethnic groups in our Synod. Please feel free to join us in the commissioning service this Thursday. Please RSVP to Fie Marino or Bradon French.

21.01.2022 Fie Marino commissioned 15 UCA Elders of the Fiji parish today. He also led Holy Communion and was guest preacher at the service tonight. These are some of the pictures and music that was sung during the service.

20.01.2022 Fie Marino spent the weekend celebrating the 17th anniversary of the Quakers Hill UC Filipino Congregation. Rev Grant Atkins led worship and Fie Marino preached about the amazing love of God. It was a vibrant inter-generational service filled with colour and joy! It was great to experience Filipino culture at its best and the food was just amazing! May the Spirit of God continue to do wonderful things within this congregation.

19.01.2022 Fie Marino the Multicultural Ministry Consultant is attending the Korean National Conference tonight at Dong San UCA Korean Church. The Moderator Rev Myung Hwa Park preached on the theme of the Korean Conference which is "Hearts on Fire." Here are some pictures of the event.

19.01.2022 Wishing all our Tongan Congregations a happy and Spirit filled Fakame - White Sunday. We will be attending Blacktown Uniting Church Fakame service which starts at 12:30pm. For all those who would like to experience the beauty of Tongan White Sunday please feel free to join any of our Tongan Congregation throughout the Synod.

18.01.2022 More from Blacktown UC Fakame - The young people took part in the service through the reading of the Bible, singing and preaching. This service was a beautiful exapmle of Tongan cultural worship at its best. Rev Liva Tukutama preached a wonderful sermon on the "The Compassionate Jesus" it was a special sermon for Rev Tukutama as this is his final Fakame at Blacktown Uniting Church.

17.01.2022 Rev Moses Taufa has been inducted as the Minister of the UCA Auburn Parish. It was a wonderful multicultural celebration as members of Auburn Parish are Koreans, Tongans, Fijians and Anglos. Here are more pictures of the event -

08.01.2022 Fie Marino and Duncan Macleod were at Griffith Uniting Church this morning - a congregation with Anglo, Samoan, Tongan, Niuean, Cook Island, Chinese, Fijian members. Rev Abera Abera led worship, with Duncan preaching on restoration and reconciliation. Duncan and Fie, with Riverina Presbytery Education & Discipleship Worker Darren Wright were hosted by the congregation on Saturday night, in song, dance and conversation about being an inter-generational cross-cultural community.

07.01.2022 Fie Marino was invited to attend the NSW State Government Forum on Multiculturalism in Australia. The discussions for today are around the theme "Is Multiculturalism under threat in Australia." As a representative of the UCA who declared herself Multicultural way back in 1985, its exciting to be part of these discussions at Parliament house this afternoon. The Minister for Social Services and Multicultural Affairs and also the Shadow Federal Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Australia are the guest speaker for today.
