19.01.2022 The Anusara School of Hatha Yoga presents free monthly online gatherings with a presentation from someone in the community on various topics, of their choosing. On August 9 in the US( USA Time Zones: 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central, 6 p.m. Mountain, 5 p.m. Pacific), and August 10 at 10am AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) I will be exploring how language is involved in our search for deeper meaning and our search for the nature of Reality or One Truth, that is so often s...poken of, yet incredibly elusive to our experience. Also, I will look at some of the current teachings that, over time, have become separated from their source, the original texts. I will include aspects of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and The Chakras. 12.01.2022 This is my current copy of the Bhagavad Gita, but I've ordered another, by Eknath Easwaran. Why would I want two copies? Because the Gita is so very open to interpretation, and many authors have given their unique contributions to the text of the Gita. I haven't received it yet but I'm curious to know how the commentary differs from this one. And when I'm absorbing Carlos Pomeda's teachings on the Gita, I'll have a look at both - then I'll find my own - unique reading. And that's how it works folks!!

07.01.2022 Awareness IN Action: An online professional development course for yoga teachers. Asanas are far more than a physical posture; they are a stance of our inner being. If we're sitting in the right place internally, we're in the asana. How can we guide our students towards an expansion of inner awareness?... How do we help them expand their capacity to practice, and live, consciously?
