20.01.2022 Year 11 Cert 3 Engineering Technical Students put their new found skills to the test, using a Laser Level to survey heights and plot the Urban Garden. This information will be used in designing drainage and future works.

19.01.2022 This week our Prep to Year 4 students will conclude their Beach Skills lessons with a Beach Carnival at Dicky Beach. The Beach skills program is designed to educate students on how to be safe while having fun at the beach. Year 1 and Year 4 students had a fantastic time today!

17.01.2022 UC Sport Well done to all the girls who participated in the Annette Brander 9's last Friday. It was the first time many of these girls have ever played rugby league. They did themselves and the College proud and we look forward to improving next year.

12.01.2022 We're sad to farewell the NET Team today as they head home to different parts of the world. They have brought energy and enthusiasm, formed incredible relationships with staff and students and filled our College with joy and laughter. They have led staff and student retreats, been on camps, formed youth groups and most importantly, shared their faith. They have been fantastic role models to our students and a gift from God to our College. It is fair to say that they have exceeded all expectation and have been transformational in the life of the College. We will miss you!

11.01.2022 Roll 'n Strike - Our Prep students had a great time practicing and playing Ten Pin Bowling as part of their PE lesson this week.

11.01.2022 UC Sport Last week we hosted our annual sports awards ceremony. MVP, Coaches Awards, Age Champions, District and Regional Representatives were all acknowledged. Congratulations to all students who represented Unity across the 5 co-curricular sports that were offered this year. Thank you to all the staff for the time and effort that goes into making sports so successful at Unity. Lastly, congratulations to Talamh house who once again triumphed in taking out Champion House in 2020.

09.01.2022 Unity College is delighted to inform our school community of the success our Senior Students achieved in their ATAR results. Out of the students who received an ATAR score: 32% received 90 and above. 50% received 80 and above.... 09.01.2022 UC Sports This Monday the 30th of November we will be hosting our Year 3 to 6 Swimming Carnival. This is being run to make up for the carnival planned earlier in the year that was rained out. Please check your emails for the parent permission slip with all of the details. To comply with the Caloundra Aquatic Centres COVID Safe Plan, this event is a spectator free event.

08.01.2022 UC Sport Unity Tennis 2021 and Beyond: Next year Unity College is looking to ignite tennis as a sporting option for our students. To do this we have partnered with Elite Tennis International from the Caloundra Tennis Centre who will head up the program. Our initial step is aimed at primary aged students. If you are interested in your child giving tennis a go, please see the attached information.

06.01.2022 Year 6 update Had an amazing day out on the water floating towards Fraser Island. We saw dolphins, turtles, dugong. Thank you to Kangaroo Bus Lines for keeping us safe on the roads.

05.01.2022 In a recent excursion to Sea World the Year 10 Marine Science Class had an amazing experience snorkeling with variety of fish, rays and sharks. They undertook underwater data collection as well as learning about the impact of climate change and human threats on the Polar Bear and Penguin populations.

05.01.2022 Don't wait until its too late to register for Mass this Christmas. Despite restrictions surrounding Mass attendance easing, many churches are still operating we...ll below normal capacity. This reduced capacity will be especially noticeable at Christmas and means you will have to register your Mass attendance in advance or you may have to think about attending Mass at a different time or place. It isn’t hard and many parishes have set up booking systems on their websites to make things as simple as possible. 05.01.2022 UC Sports Our Junior Swimming Carnival was held on Monday with perfect weather conditions. Goath was awarded the trophy for Champion House after they dominated in the pool. 05.01.2022 This term Year 11 Marine students set flight on a small 13-seater plane over to the beautiful coral cay, Lady Elliot Island 80 km from the mainland. Known for it’s pristine reef and abundance of marine life. Students had the privilege to snorkel with many turtles, sharks, manta rays, and lots of different fish species. The purpose of this camp was to immerse the students into the marine environment, learning hands-on the collection of data in the field and the impacts threatening our reefs. The students will use this learning for their 'Student Experiment Assessment'. An amazing experience for them all. One they will always remember.

03.01.2022 UC Sports Congratulations to our Unity College Basketball teams for an amazing season. Our Junior C boys and Intermediate D girls were crowned champions after convincing wins in their finals last Friday night. Our Junior A girls and Intermediate C boys also exceptional seasons finishing runners up in their finals. Massive thank you to all of our staff who have volunteered so much of their time to make these opportunities available to our students.

03.01.2022 Every year we have a theme for staff to dress to for Melbourne Cup Day. This year's theme was Diffrent and Unusual. Kath and Kel made a special appreance in honour of the theme.
