17.01.2022 UCG Receive Chorus Service Award A number of UCGs New Zealand management team recently attended Choruss annual Service Person of the Year (SPOTY) awards. It is an event where Chorus recognises the excellence of a number of front-line people across its four service companies (UCG, Visionstream, Broadspectrum and Downer). This was the first time UCG attended, and we were very well received by our peers and customer. UCGs Consents Team were recognised as the TEAM OF THE YE...AR. We see this as an awesome recognition and our team as well-deserved inaugural winners of this award. Chorus Mark Mayerhofler, who works closely with UCGs Consents Team, stated very well deserved recognition, we are all really proud of your achievement here. This encompasses geotechnical earth testing, directional drilling, pole standing and electrical/ fibre works to allow multiple carrier connections. This project falls under the City of Greater Geelong and their success in the first round of the Federal Smart Cities and Suburbs Program. Geelong have partnered with ENE.HUB to deliver t...his Smart City Infrastructure foreshore installation. ENE.HUB is a fully integrated provider of Smart City As A Service ENE.HUB works with Land Authorities to deliver the entire scope of a Smart City. ENE.HUB builds, owns, operates and maintains (BOOM) connected networks of SMART.NODES for Land Authorities. The SMART.NODE is the most advanced enabler of Smart City Services available today. The SMART.NODE elevates the humble street light to be the most integrated enabler of Smart City available today while discretely integrating the widest range of Smart City Services; Smart controlled LED lighting, Wi-Fi, 4G/5G small cells, data sensing, travel card readers, electric vehicle charging, parking management, help points and capacity for future Smart City Services.
