17.01.2022 RIP KING EDDIE VAN HALEN =VH= As crazy odd this might sound the reason I play drums is because of King Eddie Van Halen! When I first saw that Jump video clip fresh out of primary school in 1984 I was stunned at the 16 bars of that pure genius guitar solo, I made my decision right at that moment...I’m quitting trying to be a guitarist. ... BUT the beauty thing about VH is behind Eddie was his big brother Alex & his incredible drumming! That’s what made VH so legendary. It wasn’t only the brilliance & out of this world of Eddie’s guitar innovation it was his inspiration to people not just musicians & music fans! I’ve read how doctors, engineers, professors etc praise & say how important Eddie’s influence was for them!! It’s Eddie’s influence of being a master of his craft that is his legacy! 15.01.2022 Meet Theresa Earlier this year, Theresa came to Australia looking for a way to help emerging artists after studying a degree in Music Business with a focus on creating healthy communication in the area of mental illnesses in the music industry. 14.01.2022 I never learned to read music, so I created my own. I wasn’t satisfied with existing guitar sounds, so I created my own methods, techniques and my own line of guitars. I trained in classical piano for 5 years as a child, never was able to read music notation, so I relied on my aural abilities and won several competitions.... Eddie Van Halen Question to EVH: What would you do if you were a 20 year old musician on the industry today, considering the music industry is so different now? Answer: It is and it’s isn’t.
