21.01.2022 Whether you are going through a communication challenge or not, I believe these inspiring stories are relatable and applicable when faced with challenges in lif...e. A conversation close to my heart as I recently shared why I wrote Paralyzed. Australia recently celebrated Speech Pathology Week with a focus on communicating with confidence, during this time of awareness and education I wanted to bring individuals together to share experiences, exchange ideas, and ask questions. I am very proud to share a glimpse of it here, in the hope that anyone going through a similar journey may find something useful in it. A HUGE thank you to my incredible speech therapist Therese Eastern Suburbs Speech Pathology who is a total inspiration, a warrior woman for so many. And the amazing Tim Kittel, who is the President of Speech Pathology Australia, thank you for your time and guidance, and to everyone who joined the call - thank you for opening your hearts and sharing your inspiring stories of strength and resilience. Go to https://speechpathologyaustralia.org.au/ if youd like to learn more and check out the end of the video for some very useful links and check out the full video here: youtu.be/nJRHqG36k8o
