14.01.2022 5yrs Ago marks the day the Gumbaynggirr people were handed their consent determination for Gaagal Wanggaan National Park. The land was handed back to the community after 20yrs of fighting in court for our Native Title rights. This is a tremendous achievement for the Gumbaynggirr people in 5yrs we should hold a gathering to commerate this great event.

10.01.2022 Spent the day out at Scotts Head celebrating Aboriginal & TSI Children's Day with the preschool's around the Valley. Every year Uncle Ritchie organises a little Athletics Carnival. As a parent it was a privilege to be asked to do Welcome to country for the junay gamambi's.

10.01.2022 A little project i have been working on over the past couple of months with Valla Preschool. Together with the staff & children we created a Bush Tucker recipe book for families to take hm as a gift. Within the project we created a bush tucker garden were we explored native plants for our garden, we did alot of digging planting & watering which the kids were very much involved. The children also participated in art were they made clay models of pigfaces also drawings for signage, we also experimented with cooking were all these great recipes came from.
