23.01.2022 The next Unleash your Camera photography workshop begins next Wednesday 9th October at The Warragul Community House. This semester’s course has filled very quickly and we managed to squeeze in a couple more people to avoid their disappointment. We have a great group ready and rearing to go!! Welcome aboard to all participants and we know you will enjoy the six week course and your photography skills will be greatly improved at its completion. We always enjoy seeing the stun...ning results from our students and is so rewarding for us. The next Unleash your Camera workshop will be scheduled for early 2020 and an advanced course is already being planned. To secure your place and/or share with your friends you think would benefit from this great photography training please email [email protected] Be quick as limited places are available and we prefer to teach small groups.

Stage 1 Beginners Photography Course 15th April - 24th June... 6 x fortnightly sessions: Wednesdays 7:00 - 9:30pm Subjects include: - PASM PATM and other modes, Aperture, shutter and ISO the exposure triangle - Auto / Manual Focus & VR / IS / OS, Composition - Aperture, Depth of Field, Metering and activity, RAW vs JPG, Darktable and editing programs - Exposure Triange, Setting WB, The Histogram, Exposure bracketing, Composition - Creative blur, Depth of Field, Composition III, Practical Sessions (DOF and Blur) - Shooting and focus techniques, Course Summary/Revision, Student exhibition Stage 2 Skilled Photography Course 6th May - 17th June 4 x fortnightly sessions: Wednesdays 7:00pm - 9:30pm 2 x Saturday location sessions: 10:00am - 1pm Subjects include: - Composition & Image Evaluation - Determining, Setting and Correcting Exposure - Subject Lighting, the Nature of Light behaviour, quality & quantity, direction - Image Management and Processing, Lightroom, DarkTable, and other programs - Landscape, Attributes of landscape photography, on location - Portrait, Attributes of portrait photography, Styles, preparation, lighting, posing - Motion, Panning and Long Exposure, Portraying movement, Freezing movement, on location These dates and times are to be used as a guide and are subject to change.
