24.01.2022 Are You Gonna Go My Way Lenny is a 6 month old border collie and he does his best job at dragging his fur parents everywhere! They have done a really nice job with how they manage Len in the home and he has nice manners generally. ... We spoke about providing him with more brain work to ensure they keep up with his needs to prevent the potential for unwanted behaviours in the future. Worked on some impulse control around doorways and gates and 're shapped his lead acceptance and walking skills. Stay engaged Lenny....

22.01.2022 Wow not sure where that time went but I am extending orders until Friday 4th December as I am disorganised! Don't miss out as these wont be back until next summer.

22.01.2022 Kicking Goals Team Ada have been hard at work during their Manners Program in preparation for working around decoy dog Keith. Ada was struggling to be around dogs before we met them, she was really vocal, over excited and lunged on the lead. ... We are thrilled with the progress they have been making. Her fur parents comment "She's enjoyable to walk now" All the hard work really does pay off and we are excited to see continued success as we progress into more dog sessions.

21.01.2022 Motivational Monday

21.01.2022 Stunning day to begin a new round of classes So many adorable puppies and dogs on their training journey.

17.01.2022 Don't Believe A Word They Say This girl did her best impression of a quiet relaxed dog during our in home consult. But she did show us a few clues that lead us to not be totally convinced by that sweet face ... - Over excited on arrival of guests - Pacing about with toy in mouth - Attention Seeking - Vigilant of movement n sound on the street All classic signs of a dog who is under stimulated mentally, stressed when separated from her human and who has not been shown how to stop and chill out. So we got cracking with implementing a greeting protocol, identified ways to remove reinforcement from attention seeking, gave her a job to do to enforce rest and got her brain working with a couple new skills. Seeing is believing and we look forward to the next time we meet cheeky girl

17.01.2022 Congratulations to our Puppy class graduates today!

16.01.2022 Winners are Grinners Check out Nala!! Before training with us Nala was scared of people, she would growl and bark terrified if anyone came to close. To add to that she was toy obsessed, steam rolled her owners down the street on a lead, lacked in confidence and needed to improve her recall... a lot of training basically!!... Here she is at a very busy brewery where dogs are also welcome and she is happy and chilled in the presence of many other people and dogs. Go team Nala I am so proud of you for all the hard work, keep enjoying your new found well trained dog who can now go on adventures with you

16.01.2022 We talk all the time about biological fulfilment and meeting your dogs instinctive needs. However this is far more eloquently said than I ever could. Breed selection is so important, why did you choose your breed and what are your expectations of them? Are you capable of fulfilling their needs?

15.01.2022 Grieving Dog Needs A Hand This beautiful girl and family have recently suffered the loss of their other fur companion. He left a huge void in their lives and the depth of her attachment to him was becoming evident. ... She seemed like a confident, independent dog while he was around but now without him it's clear that he was the source of her security. The family have newly adopted a puppy to help keep her company and the puppy has brought joy into all their lives but by no means did they want just a quick fix. They acknowledged they needed help and that they had some work to do to ensure both dogs lasting success into the future. A goal we are sure they can achieve.

10.01.2022 Jemima's Final Session So excited to see this girls transformation. From over aroused and frantic behaviours at home to nervous around other dogs to calm at home and off lead under control and even showing interest in interacting with other dogs.... At 6yrs old Jemima is not a young dog, but with all her owners hard work and dedication she has transformed into a happier more chilled out young lady. I love to see people put in all the work to achieve their goals. Now they have smashed the goal of being around other dogs calmly and under control and she is showing interest in interacting with other dogs her owners have set a new goal and want to keep working with her!! So now we enter the phase of learning appropriate interaction with other dogs. I am super proud of this team and their achievements You too can work hard and get great results!!
