25.01.2022 SENIOR COACHING APPOINTMENT We are please to announce that Tom Monsigneur has been appointed Senior Coach. Having crossed paths on soccer pitch with President Smith, a bromance blossomed, Tom swiped right and Ollie landed his man!... A quick word from our main man... I’m a professional sports coach who has been working with SACA for the past 3 and half years, delivering entry level programs, coaching and co-ordinating cricket programs throughout Adelaide. Additionally I am involved in the Woodcroft College cricket program as their 1st XI Coach. I had a few years away from the game due to soccer commitments and recently resumed playing with some of my mates at the Phantoms in the Adelaide Suburban Cricket Association. We will have coaches night after training in the coming weeks to outline my coaching philosophies and season plan. 24.01.2022 ICYMI Last Friday, the Minister for Recreation & Sports, Corey Wingard MP announced that our recent grant application to the Office of Recreation and Sport was successful. The $700k grant along with the previous funding from the City of Mitcham and Sam Duluk MP allows us along with the Football Club to push forward with plans to bring our dates facilities up the scratch.... Have a watch of the moment the announcement was made below. You might even see a few familiar faces.

24.01.2022 UCC CALL FOR CAPTAINS Unley Cricket Club captain applications are now open for the upcoming 2020/21 season. The club will be fielding an ‘A’, ‘B’ and two one-day sides. 16.01.2022 **AGM 2 WEEK NOTICE** Wednesday May 6, 7pm All committee positions will be declared open. Per the constitution, today is the final day for any Life Membership Submissions - please send these in today to the secretary at the contact below.... Subs invoices that are still outstanding payment have been issued. Please contact treasurer Jono Rhodes at [email protected] if you require a payment arrangement or have any other concerns, otherwise they will be listed on the financial report to be distributed at the AGM. Unless social distancing laws are relaxed, this meeting will be held on Skype. You will be able to join on the night prior to the meeting but to assist with easing the process, if you plan on attending please let this page or secretary Chris Hogan at [email protected] know prior to the day to assist in setting up the meeting. Attendance is very much encouraged, regardless of the desire to be involved at committee level or not. The outgoing Committee along with the Junior Committee have done a fantastic club rebuilding this club off field and there are exciting times ahead.

05.01.2022 As announce over the weekend the Elected Members of Mitcham Council have just endorsed contributing $750k in funding to the Kingswood Sports and Social Club facility re-development. The resident clubs, Unley Cricket Club & Unley Football Club have agreed to a co-contribution of $93k . This is a significant increase in the amount the clubs had expected, but given it represents a small fraction of the total project cost of $2.1 Million, the delivery of an updated home base was ...seen, and we're sure you'll agree, as worth the investment in this "once in a generation" project. This is all with an additional $600k of promised State and Federal Government funding. Given, due to the current social restrictions and being the middle of our off season any other fundraiser measures would be futile, so we hope you get behind this raffle to assist us in our goals for 2020. Please consider contributing some portion of your "non COVID" club spend to the cause. The Toyota "Good for Footy Raffle" is an online raffle with fantastic prizes, and by purchasing tickets via our own portal below. The clubs (it’s in the football clubs name due to the raffle being exclusively offered to football clubs) will receive 100% of the revenue raised with all proceeds going towards to the building fund. The raffle is endorsed by our respective leagues, all transactions are guaranteed secure and all details van be accessed via the portal.
