20.01.2022 Share the dignity is a wonderful charity who collect and hand out sanitary items and self care products to women in need, homeless, fleeing from domestic violence or doing it tough. Some of these women/teens don’t have access to the simplest of self care item such as pads. Can you imagine going a week with out some sort of pads or tampons. Imagine being a high school girl in this situation. It is upsetting to think but it happens. Please spare sometime this week and collect... a bag and a little encouraging note in with it. Some Ideas 1. Donate a handbag in good, used condition that you no longer use. 2. Fill it with items that will make a difference to the daily life of a vulnerable woman or girl. 3. Be sure to include the essentials such as sealed packets of pads and tampons, roll-on deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and soap or bodywash. 4. Add little luxuries like lip balm, new socks, a magazine - anything that would make a woman or teenage girl feel special. You can also add a thoughtful note in to the bag to show the recipient they are in your thoughts.
