25.01.2022 Siblings, Jacob and Lara Faranda, took home their premiership trophies from different sections after a long wait. Congratulations.

25.01.2022 Beautiful day for tennis. Clear blue skies.

24.01.2022 Group lessons are now available. Most advanced players started in a group class before adding or moving to private lessons.

24.01.2022 For group lessons, we need to wait.

24.01.2022 Make tennis one of your fitness activities

24.01.2022 The sun is out but the temperature is refrigerator cold. Still a good time for exercise. Playing singles is very safe as it is non-contact and the player on the other side is 20 meters away from you.

24.01.2022 Tennis will be back next week in Melbourne. Need to get my tennis racquet.

23.01.2022 Good news, one on one tennis is allowed including one on one tennis lessons. Group coaching are suspended until further notice due to lockdown.

23.01.2022 Rally to get fit.

23.01.2022 Beautiful rainbow but not good for tennis. A washout Tuesday.

22.01.2022 Shadow tennis like shadow boxing is an essential part of an athlete's training. You see professional players doing 'shadow tennis' on the sidelines while waiting for a practice court or at the dugout before a match at the Open. Beginners will benefit exponentially from this activity as the average beginner student don't practice after their lesson. Doing shadow tennis for 10 minutes a day for a year is about 60 hours of practice. 60 hours of practice will guarantee big improvements.

22.01.2022 You can enrol in private or group lessons now.

22.01.2022 This is Ronaldo, the Shadowman, happily coaching at the club. Some students were freaked out when I greeted them with my face covered. Still smiling behind the mask.

21.01.2022 It was unfortunate but players had been defaulted by this rule on ball abuse. Remember Denis Shapovalov years ago, he wasn't aiming at anyone but hit the umpire.

21.01.2022 I hope in a week or 2 we can start training like Simona.

21.01.2022 3 different ways to take the racquet back on the serve. 1. The racquet head drops below the knee like Roger Federer. 2. The racquet head drops below the chest like Rafael Nadal. 3 The racquet head stays above the shoulders like Gael Monfils.

20.01.2022 Aussie Alex De Minaur advances to his first Grand Slam QF. He defeated Pospisil in straight sets.

20.01.2022 Topspin forehands and backhands from 2 young Brooklyn players.

20.01.2022 The fun in tennis are the rallies.

19.01.2022 As 2020 is about to end, I want to take this opportunity to say 'goodbye' to all the families who are moving out of Melbourne. No matter how long or short the student/ coach relationship, it will always be memorable for me.

19.01.2022 Night tennis under lights.

19.01.2022 Moving to more restrictions in Melbourne. The virus will be here with us for the long haul. We just have to get used to living with all the precautionary measures like wearing a mask and social distancing. Let us accept that the world has changed. Our hobbies, leisure and sports have changed. We will adapt. Wearing a mask in public is probably one of the easier precautionary measures that is doable. .

19.01.2022 It is Christmas season and summer season here in Australia. It is advisable to wear a hat when playing outdoor tennis. #tennisLessons #tenniscoaching #tennistraining #tennisserve #unoTennis #brooklyntennis #kidssports

18.01.2022 8 weeks since my last hit. What to expect when you get back to the courts in a few days, sore muscles the following day.

18.01.2022 Before we have another lockdown, we want to congratulate Marcus Sparrow for receiving his premiership trophy. The awarding ceremony was canceled due to the Covid crisis. It was his first premiership after years of representing Brooklyn. It was also his last season as he will be preparing for year 12 exams at the end of the year. It was a pleasure to have the Sparrows in our club. All the best Marcus.

17.01.2022 Finally, Brooklyn player, Xavier Zagame, received his trophy from last summer's junior inter-club competition. It was his first premiership with 4 other players. The Finals and the awarding ceremony was canceled due to Covid19 lockdown.

17.01.2022 Congratulations 4th time lucky.

16.01.2022 Cardio tennis for adults will start again soon.

16.01.2022 Great that we can still play our sport.

16.01.2022 Novak Djokovic at 14 years old. Now he's the year-end No. 1 in the FedEx ATP Rankings for a record-equalling SIXTH time!

15.01.2022 Reminiscing on my high school tennis days. Circa mid- 80s. Thank you former teammate, Ned Bengzon, for this photo.

15.01.2022 A positive note on the other side of the world, my friend's son had a nice practice session.

15.01.2022 James and Thomas Lawrence got their Section 20 trophies from last Summer's WRTA junior inter-club league. Congratulations. It was a long wait from their last competition match that took place before the first lockdown.

14.01.2022 One of our Brooklyn tennis club members, Patrick Lawrence, will attempt a world record, not on a tennis court but on a basketball court. Please support his cause.

13.01.2022 The last hit yesterday was on a near perfect day. We are on lockdown for 6 weeks. Brooklyn Tennis Club will be closed. We just hope this Stage 4 lockdown works. Time to schedule home activities and projects.... Thank you to all my students and fellow members. See you someday. See more

13.01.2022 Never lose hope.

12.01.2022 Laver. Sampras. Federer. When three tennis legends are born in the same week, you get a party for the ages.

12.01.2022 Tennis Victoria's lukewarm response to Melbourne's lockdown is baffling.

12.01.2022 See you soon, hopefully.

12.01.2022 In an Interstate Tennis Tournament 2021. Player A: I have a tough draw, I am playing a fellow-Queenslander, 1st round. Player B: I have a good 1st round draw, a player from Melbourne.... Player A: How do you know you have the advantage? Player B: Melbourne players are rusty and out of shape coming from the longest lockdown in the world. The Victorian government thought that tennis is a high contact sport and banned it for a long time. Player A: Wahahaaa. Bwahaha.

11.01.2022 I am fine coaching with a mask on.

11.01.2022 Melbourne tennis clubs after months of no tennis.

11.01.2022 When playing tennis, no need to wear a mask. After you play, wear a mask.

10.01.2022 Face mask rules on the tennis court.

10.01.2022 This is how Melbournians play tennis in the last 10 weeks or so.

09.01.2022 Tennis is slowly coming back.

09.01.2022 Learn tennis this summer. Tennis lessons are available throughout the summer holidays.

08.01.2022 We are at 4,200 signatures now - time to step things up! Start forwarding this petition to your local MPs to push and make sure that tennis is one of the things... they ask for when things start opening up. Hairdressers seems to know what's happening when - not sure why tennis doesn't, so we need to be persistent to get tennis front and centre of their thinking. We also need to change the conversation to "How can we... open up safely" and be able to say that tennis could, because we have done it before during Stage 3 lockdown. We all heard how important the customer records were for that cafe in Kilmore (the extension of the Chadstone cluster problem). Well, tennis was doing all of that and more during Stage 3 lockdown and we can roll it out again immediately - we don't need to wait. Communities need to start opening up and we have to manage, not avoid, the risk (because it won't go away) - keeping us locked down to avoid risk isn't sustainable in any way, shape or form. Keep sharing and stay positive (not with COVID though!)

08.01.2022 Tennis tournaments and competitions will be back in 2021. Start practicing.

07.01.2022 Group lessons are back for kindergarten and Primary school age children.

07.01.2022 Who can break this record? 13.

06.01.2022 You can only identify this boy from his backhand.

06.01.2022 Happy New Tennis Year.

06.01.2022 Group lessons will start Kindergarten (4 years old and above) every Wednesday mornings starting November 4 and Friday mornings starting soon.

06.01.2022 Even as kids, you knew they had something special Check out Rafa Nadal, Andy Murray, Borna Coric & Frances Tiafoe at Les Petits As - Le Mondial Lacoste! (: Les Petits As/YT)

06.01.2022 Unfortunately, tennis is still not allowed in Melbourne while the whole of Australia and the world can play and operate. We will update if there are changes.

06.01.2022 So sunny but cold here in Melbourne.

06.01.2022 Hand sanitizer or clean hands are useless if you re breathing covid19 droplets. Staying away from each other is the best way. When playing tennis avoid chatting or sitting too close to one another on breaks.

05.01.2022 Term 4 2020 group coaching has ended and will resume Term 1 2021. Casual private tennis lessons (one on one) are still on.

01.01.2022 Making Grand Slam history, the US Open Tennis Championships quarterfinals will feature three mothers - Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka and Tsvetana Pironkova. bit.ly/35eivdj

01.01.2022 I’m sharing this win with all of you, especially those who need personal wins in your life. Super happy to be headed to the Roland Garros 2020 Semi-Finals. #ProudToBeGlobe #RafaNadalAcademy #Babolat Julien Crosnier/FFT

01.01.2022 The tennis serve journey for most 4 year olds starts here near the net. This 4 year old boy is starting an overhead serve. If he keeps practicing then he will move further back closer to the baseline. #tenniscoach #tennislessons #tenniscourt #unoTennis #brooklyntennis #hotshots
