24.01.2022 Hi guys. Up late and still working. Hope you are all doing well and your families and loved ones are safe. Well the last few days have been interesting, we had another coffee spill damage macbook pro in (nothing unusual there). Once repair was done the client changed their mind and did not want repair. Seen this scam before where people wand a free repair. Our stance is that we remove the parts and return the machine to the non working condition it arrives in. But th...is nugget gets angry and for his trouble demands to pickup in 45 minutes. 3 clients in the shop and no time I quickly undid the work. I did not ultrasonic it. I did not replace the burnednout and removed screen connector. And in my haste I left out 5 screws. One broken off from some fool previously. I put back the original battery as they are glued in it looked shabby from the stress of prying it out in the first place. He picked it up and did say "for the hassle you should have fixed it for free. 1. We did not sell it. 2. We did not previously repair it, 3. It was in our shop 1 week. Later that day we are accused of putting another board in it. WAIT a broken board to replace the BROKEN board. Based on the assumption my another inept tech in an industrial shed, that the sticker on the board did not match the base plate. Well news here is that THEY DONT EVER MATCH. One is board model id and the other is the serial number. Lets say this tech (let's call him ROCKY from (let's say location) kundi parks, either is as bad as the previous work we have seen, or is a very dishonest liar. Leaves a bad taste in one's mouth to be up all these hours striving to do our best for people when such nuggets exist in this world. To all my gorgeous clients I say thanks and I look forward to helping you nice people out and thank you for your understanding with parts delay and time off with family stuff I have had to attend to. 21.01.2022 We have been busy (as always) but trying to keep stock available as well as our repairs. We have a good range of iMac machines ready. Thin retina, and upgraded standard machines. Will just put one up as an example. i3, 8gb ram, 1tb sata drive running osx high sierra. Great condition. $550. Of course we still have many macbook pro and macbook airs as well.

19.01.2022 when some people who should know better, don't value what you do. I get in a MacBook Pro Retina model. During this time it has been quite difficult to get our parts from China, Japan, Germany, USA, Turkey and Hong Kong. So there are delays for an unusual part that we did not have. The client was told of the delay (he is a computer tech) but in waiting almost 2 months (yes that is a crazy amount of time, but out of my control), he has been aggressive and voicing that "this ...is beyond a bloody joke". I feel for him, but not to be helped. Finally the part is in that we need to test more of the logic board and it seems that work attempted has damaged other components that we can not get power too. I have told him that there is no charge for what we have done, as we always do NO FIX NO FEE. and if he wants, we have a new like board that has been totally refurbished for $550 installed. Apples refurb board price being $920. He then gets nasty and says that is a ripoff as he can get a used board on Ebay for $400. Of course this will be a used board and may be dodgy. Then the guy has to fit it and not break any of the delicate cables or put a wrong screw in the wrong place (that will often destroy the board by piercing it.) Of course there is no warranty most likely on the Ebay logic board and no free servicing and checkup like we do. Yes. it is great to feel valued.
