The launch of this new store at 435 Macquarie Street will - all going to plan! - coincide with our 5th Birthday Celebrations in Kingston!... 12.01.2022 And we are open at 435 Macquarie Street, South Hobart! Today Friday 24th Dec 9:0 am - 4:00pm You might have noticed we're opening a little later than planned but we still made December! We came across all the normal problems expected and a few new ones :). We've had a lot of late nights and early mornings, and the boys have worked just as hard as I have - particularly Josh who has been there every single day and done most of the actual fitout himself. We believe that this lo...cation is a great spot for us to add value to the existing retail landscape in the area. Hopefully, by adding our range of wholefoods and other items people with access to South Hobart will see it as a viable place to do their entire grocery shop. The launch of the new store at 435 Macquarie Street will coincide with our 5th Birthday in Kingston. We had lots of festivities planned for both sites, but due to the delays and our opening being pushed back, we have decided to make January our month of celebration instead. So you can look forward to the prize draw, cake, 'Meet the Maker' sessions, product giveaways and more all throughout January. We would love to see both familiar and new faces during opening week and beyond! Pop in and say hi. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Unpacked team, our wonderful suppliers, our customers (that's you!), my friends and family, and especially my boys for their support, understanding and hard work over the past few months. These are wicking pot plants (so they have a water reservoir in the base - means they are low maintenance in terms of watering)’ the team @ Unpacked

Leave your jars & containers with us for a minimum of 4 hours and we’ll take care of the rest - just make sure your containers are clean and well labelled. Both of these are available in store now. ‘Making Marks' - Australia and Afghanistan.. is an exquisite book showcasing a project linking Australian and Afghani women through art. Using the medium of the handkerchief to create artworks that are diverse and yet also connected. Many of the ‘first marks’ on the handkerchiefs refl...ect the Australian artists’ relationship with, and connection to, place, nature and history. These themes are also reflected in the ‘second marks’ made by Afghan women whose relationship with, and connection to, their place and their history, resonates through each stitch and informs the hopes and dreams articulated in thread.. Artworks that inspire hope and connection. All proceeds go to Afghani women directly to assist them in study and small business training. $39.95 ‘Wild Walkers 2021 Calendar". The Wild Walker project is aimed at helping kids at risk within the Tasmanian community. The goal is to fund a "Wild School" in the Tarkine wilderness where kids can be immersed/explore nature and themselves through nature integration and outdoor education.
