21.01.2022 Well done; obviously - not as if we all thought "Oh shit, they won" - that was left to Gordon, to the UNSWCC T20 Squad for their victory against Gordon at their home oval on Sunday. Gordion were marvelllous hosts, a solid team and made for a great day of cricket. UNSW Cricket Club Photos JRattler.

16.01.2022 Third Grade Round 4 vs Sydney 21st November 2020 Jake Greenberg On a warm Saturday morning we arrive at Dave Phillips North to tackle a bunch of Sydney blokes that don’t know what’s about to hit them. As we all congregate into the dressing rooms there is the standard chat that roams around, started by Barbs and Crofty discussing issues within their life which also creates a good solid laugh to start off our day....Continue reading

05.01.2022 A Metro Sledge report from "OST". The Saturday sledge Round 4 Well, where to start. We won again and I’m starting to see a patten with our great captain Chai losing the toss but ending up winning the game. 0 out of 3 toss wins but 3 out of 3 wins so that’s good stuff there. ... Batting was pretty steady. Daniel got the 78* he deserves and Ben was his running mate getting 54*. Good to see Dinuk sharing the batting around by only making 33. Seriously that’s like nothing compared to last week’s effort! The rest of us were there just to spectate. The bowling was tight and its wasn’t long before we got the momentum to shift our way. Vibhu took 4/26 and Vineet got 3/28 on debut. The pressure of good bowling got to the batters but Vibhu will think it was because of his non-stop chatter. It was doing my head in so surely it was getting to the opposition. And I almost got a wicket except the carrot top couldn’t hold onto the catch. Special mention to Oscar and his catch. Nice use of the chest but just stick to using your hands next time. well done boys! Keep the points rolling.

03.01.2022 Here we go.............. The Staff and the Editors of "The Saturday Sledge" are thrilled over this news. Welcomed back Trem!

01.01.2022 5th Grade Sledge Report vs Sydney CC - Cooper When I checked the MyCricket draw throughout the week, I must admit, I wasn’t sure if even half our team would be functioning at 10am on Sunday morning, and so it came as no surprise when a few of the boys rocked up to DP on Sunday donning their sunglasses, with their arms slowly dragging their kits. After a sluggish start to the morning, we slowly got into our usual pre-game preparations. Thankfully, after his ‘quiet’ night, JP w...Continue reading
