24.01.2022 Thanks so much to everyone’s help today in our first ever full club run competition from Juniors to Adults. Special thanks to the Judo NSW referees that came to referee and educate our future junior referees and to Kathy Meyer who helped in setting up the scoring and draws for the competition. 65 competitors from 7 years of age to 35++ Congratulations to all who stepped up and competed today you are all winners from the experience.

22.01.2022 Just a short note to thank everyone for your support throughout 2020. At the first lockdown in March I was considering the possibility of another career change as a security guard, I packed everything up ready to move on but then I decided to push on and try and adapt to the NEW NORM. It all seems like a blur now but here are a few things that tested our resilience and creativity.... * 9 weeks of online ZOOM classes for the Kids Judo Program * Ivica, Marieta and other senior club coaches conducting online circuits * Outdoor no contact 2 metre distanced training sessions * Indoor no contact training sessions with limited numbers Then amazingly in September we were back to full training. Something that I didn't think would happen for at least a year. All of our members have had challenges to deal with including work, home schooling and being distanced from family members. Through this year we have learned to adapt and persevere in an environment that we could never have envisaged a year ago, but we have got through. One thing that Judo teaches you is to keep getting back up and get back into it, no matter how many times you get knocked down the opportunity to learn is always there. I'd like to sincerely thank all of our members for their continual support during 2020 and to wish everyone a safe, healthy and fun 2021. First Senior session is on Monday 11th January 5.30-7.00PM and the first Graded Kids session is Wednesday 13th January 5.30-7.00PM. HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone All the best.
