21.01.2022 Congratulations to our UNSW swimmers who competed at Senior State Age last week! We had 100% PBs. Special congratulations to Stuart S (2nd in 100 & 200 Backstroke and 5th in 100 Free) and to Billy Z (7th 1500 Free). Congratulations to our former UNSW Swimmers who competed as well (they're still black and gold when you scratch the surface )

17.01.2022 Hi all, just to let you know that we have had to suspend taking any more entries into our upcoming 2021 Speedo Sprint Series Heats due to everyone trying to ge...t on and in at the same time. Please rest assured, whilst we have had to stop taking entries for time being, we are not full and will be back open for entries once we have checked things out. Please bear with us until we check things out and get back online which we expected to be able to do within the next few hours.

13.01.2022 Congratulations Canberra Y! 3rd place in the 1km at the North Bondi Roughwater swim on Sunday. Beautiful day for an ocean swim - it was almost like a pool

13.01.2022 Update on online entries ... We are in no way full. The issue is everyone is trying to do this all at the same time. Please be assured that we have done our ...numbers and have ways of maximising the number of entries for the meet - as we have done in the many years gone by. However, trying to get everyone entered at the same instance in time is obviously causing us a system problem. So please be patient, relax and take time to put your entries in. We need to spread the load over course of the next day or so. In doing so, we constantly monitor entries as they come in and so are well aware of when (and if) it becomes an issue for us. But 3 hours (and well over 2,500 user logins) into our campaign we are no way near our numbers for this meet and won't be for some time.

10.01.2022 Friday morning training at Victoria Park Pool. Only one more sleep until Junior Metropolitan Championships. Good luck this weekend to Canberra, Jayson, Nick and all the ex-UNSW swimmers swimming for their new clubs. Looking forward to seeing you all race!

10.01.2022 Karen is the heart and soul of the UNSW Swimming Club and was recently awarded Life Membership of the Club. Karen has been involved in UNSW Swimming Club for 20 years. Registrar for 10 years, UNSW Swim Club Representative for NSW Swimming for 10 years, running Club Nights for 12 years, State and National Tour Coordinator, our longest serving committee member and our swimmers biggest supporter. Karen's involvement at UNSW began in 1994 and she has been involved in every aspect... of the UNSW Swim Club since. There is rarely a swim meet at any level that Karen does not support. She celebrates all our swimmers and their achievements - whether they be a new junior swimmer or a national level swimmer - with overwhelming joy, enthusiasm and happiness. Congratulations Karen!

08.01.2022 Congratulations to all UNSW swimmers who competed at the METSEA Senior Swimming Championships this weekend. There was great race practice with more pbs and metro, state and national qualifying times. Special mention to Emily Swinburn and Alex Thompson who were swimmers of the meet for female and male highest point scores. Whilst it was the last hurrah for many of us with UNSW we wish all the swimmers and their families the best for the future and hope to continue to see you swimming well in the pool for many years to come

01.01.2022 Congratulations to all UNSW swimmers who competed at the NSW LC qualifying meet on the weekend. It was great to see everyone back in the pool racing together again. There were plenty of pbs, Metsea, metro, state and national qualifying times. Well done to everyone for all their hard work throughout the past 6 months in keeping fit and swimming wherever and whenever we could. Special mention to the following female and male swimmers of the meet: Canberra Yamasaki and Marcus Da Silva.
