25.01.2022 Hi lovelies, after some confusion about when relaxation massage services can re-open, I have found out from Business Tasmania that I can commence on Monday June 15th. I have been busy ensuring that I can offer massage as safely as possible. I have completed the Department of Health COVID-19 online training and established my COVID-19 Workplace Framework Safety Plan which will be displayed in the massage room. I have also been researching massage specific hygiene practices thr...ough the massage associations and have a clearer plan in place now. If you want more information please message me as there is too much to post here. There will be some changes to service while COVID-19 is still a risk for us all... *available appointments will be posted on this page and you can message me here or via mobile to book. Online bookings will remain closed for a few weeks at least to see how things are going first. *I will only be offering 60 minute appointments at this time at a cost of $50 (no concessions) with card or direct bank deposit the preferred payment. Gift vouchers are not available to purchase. *While most enjoy a soothing face massage, I wont be adding this or head massage at the moment. *Pregnancy massage is not available. *If anyone who feels they might be in a high risk category for COVID-19 please consider if massage is right for you at this time. *Please bring your own water bottle to your appointment. *Please do not come to your massage with cold or flu symptoms (or even recently resolved ones) and I will do the same. I don't charge a cancellation fee and ask for two hours minimum notice of cancellation. There will be a short health screening questionnaire to sign on arrival to your appointment. *Please remember that I am a relaxation massage therapist not trained in remedial techniques. As it's been a while since we've all had a massage there will be some tight muscles out there (me too!) and I can generally help out with that, but if you have an injury or an issue that requires more then please consult a remedial massage therapist or physio. Phew! That's quite a list! I know you will all appreciate that these changes are necessary at this time and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. I have missed you all and can't wait to see you again! I hope I can help bring some calm to you in what is a chaotic time for most of us and provide some long awaited relief for those tight muscles or those who simply crave some time out and tlc. 24.01.2022 With a heavy heart it's time to close Unwind Massage. The gov hasn't shut down this industry yet, but unless I can figure out how to massage from a couple of meters away... "At this stage, businesses such as hairdressers and beauticians can stay open if they comply with social-distancing guidelines as challenging as that may be."... Please stay safe and well my community of lovely women! I always feel so grateful to have the opportunity to be part of your wellness and will miss seeing you, listening to what's on your mind and seeing the difference in you as you leave the room. 04.01.2022 Hi everyone, online booking is open for some limited spots (mostly evening/ weekend) until mid Feb, then regular hours will be available. Days / times this year will be Wednesday 6pm - 9pm Thursday and Friday 9.30 - 2.30 Saturday 1pm - 5pm.
