14.01.2022 Today we celebrate International Day of People with Disability; a chance to promote a more inclusive society by ‘seeing the ability in disability’. This years theme of ‘Not all Disabilities are Visible’ focuses on spreading awareness and understanding of disabilities that are not immediately apparent, such as mental illness, chronic pain or fatigue, sight or hearing impairments, diabetes, brain injuries, neurological disorders, learning differences and cognitive dysfunctio...ns, among others. The impact of COVID-19 has been felt through isolation, disconnect and disrupted routines impacting mental health and well-being for millions across the world.
