20.01.2022 Another stunning Peace Lily ready to head out the door today. I have wrapped up so many of these lately as they have been SO popular. How could you not LVE them. So lush and about to BLOOM. They thrive in low light indoor spaces and will tell you when they need a water when the leaves droop.

17.01.2022 Trying a new technique today. Mosaic backer. I’m making this one for our new business logo sign in our Market Fair stall. I will be painting this one black and thinking of gold lettering (haven’t made my mind up on that yet) Exciting to show you when it’s finished.

16.01.2022 A beautiful lush set of #peacelily #kokedamas on Prism Stands left us today and will be in the homes of 2 sisters. This is the first house plant being added to her home and I’m confident with all the goodness I have wrapped inside the ball and my guidence this plant will survive! May the #houseplantaddiction begin.

15.01.2022 Upcycle Pallet Lowline TV Unit with White Wash doors This unit is HUGE at 2.2 metres long. It now holds a 75’’ tv A special request from the customer for the white washed doors. Something we hadn’t thought of before. We just love having the input from customers to design their prefect pieces.

15.01.2022 There’s a nation wide shortage of sphagnum moss My regular wholesale supplier where I buy huge bales of moss tells me they won’t get any till around March! I got my hands on 15 smaller bags which should make 75 regular kokes. I will keep my eyes peeled for more bags , as I know how much ya’ll loving giving kokedamas as Christmas gifts.

15.01.2022 Challenge accepted / Project complete. When a customer contacted me and shared a photo of a little Christmas Gnome (3rd photo) she wanted made I was excited to try something new. I made a stencil from the original photo and attached it to 7mm MDF... I also decided to add some detailed dimension to parts of the project using different tips on my dremel Dremel Australia Using Supercheap Auto filler primer and Rust-Oleum spray paints. Attached to an Upcycled pallet board. What a cute little Christmas decoration.

14.01.2022 For Heaths 40th Birthday he set me the challenge of making a Richmond Tigers sign. This would test the few months of experience I have on the scroll saw. Fortunately when I decided on buying my first scroll saw I went with the top of the range Carbatec and has made handcutting this very intricate piece a dream. Each small piece was hand sanded, primed and spray painted Putting the puzzle back together for the glue up was surprisingly easy and lots of fun.... 12.01.2022 One of the latest signs I have handmade using a new technique ‘faux shiplap’ I used my router to cut grooves into the plywood. The backer was stained with a silver grey stain. The paw prints, dog bone and words ‘kisses & love’ were hand cut and painted on MDF. Tash from Henkat Designs cut and applied vinyl decal wording and we finished it the sign off with a handmade frame coated with whitewash paint. ... The perfect sign for any dog lovers home. Custom changes welcome.

06.01.2022 This morning was delivery day. I was able to cheer up someone’s birthday with the delivery of a Kokedama and card with special message organised by her sisters. Another was a co worker sending a gift of appreciation to a work friend during these testing times. For the rest of stage 4 lockdown I will include all deliveries with a complimentary handmade gift card from Henkat Designs...
