10.01.2022 Welcome to our Upcycle Newcastle page! We are passionate about reducing waste to landfill through creative re-use and repair. We have premises at Shed 7D, 50 Clyde St, Hamilton North (Newcastle, NSW) and are open: - Tues, Wed, Thurs 10am - 5pm - Saturday 1 - 5pm... - Various other times - for workshops and classes You are welcome to come and use our space with sewing machines, overlockers, cutting tables etc during these times - cost is $3/hour for our financial members and $5/hour for non-members. Cost of membership is $20/financial year. You can also volunteer with us: - help sort donations - prepare materials for workshops that we run in schools, the community and our shed - make products that we sell to help pay the rent. The yoga ladies loved the mindfulness they experienced when creating their rugs and having something to do with their hands whilst they also got some chill time... #Upcycle #ragrug #mindfulness #upcyclenewcastle #yogaretreat

Hours: Tuesdays till Thursdays 10am - 5pm and Saturdays 1 - 5pm Shed 7D, 50 Clyde St Hamilton North If you wish to come and work on your own projects ($3/hour), or volunteer at the shed, please book in by texting 0411 434 013 with your name and estimated time you'd like to come. We need to continue to limit our numbers due to Covid-19 restrictions, but would love to see you back at the shed! We have a range of face masks and other products for sale, as well as materials for your textile upcycling projects.
