25.01.2022 Is everyone ready for Christmas? It is so close I can almost smell it! I have been so busy catching up on all my missed 2020 shoots that I missed taking my own Christmas photos and haven't planned for the traditional ginger bread house that I have made every year for the past 10+ years. It's coming ready or not!

25.01.2022 Christmas Eve Eve. So here is a little nativity scene to ponder.

24.01.2022 Oh my goodness she had me at hello!

23.01.2022 Staying together while staying apart... and staying at home.

23.01.2022 A little sneak peek from this morning. How beautiful is this doting big sister? Lucky little boy!

23.01.2022 Mama this is your time to be with your babies. Savour it. Hold it and breathe it in any way you can. In the blur of the days, it can be tiring, arduous, lonely, and messy but before your very eyes and with the snuffing of each birthday candle they are preparing for take off. Little doesn't last for very long at all.

20.01.2022 This gallery is being finalised and will soon be on its way. And they say to never work with children and animals. I say send me ALL the children and animals!

19.01.2022 If you are worried your lockdown newborn might not sleep during their session, no need to worry. Because how good are awake baby eyes?

19.01.2022 I managed to squeeze in a few beautiful shoots between lockdowns. I am missing this so much.

18.01.2022 I have never been so happy to see the Spring. Happy Spring Melbourne! Notice those puffs of blossoms bursting from the trees and falling like a celebratory confetti all around us. I am really hoping to do some cherry blossom shoots this year. Here's one I made earlier!

18.01.2022 So much fun with this extended family. My favourite pictures are always the make a silly face pictures.

15.01.2022 Look a baby! We all need a little distraction at the moment. 288 cases in Melbourne today. Oy Vey! Stay safe everyone.

13.01.2022 2020 has been tough on Melbourne. But brighter days are on their way and we are celebrating.

12.01.2022 I remember heralding this year in with so much expectation! Well that didn’t go as planned did it! However, I’ve learned to take everything one step at a time so here I am stepping cautiously into 2021. My hat is off to all the families who had babies in lockdown this year. Your stories have amazed and inspired me. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes in those early days when we were taking our first steps out of lockdown. Thank you to all the families I’ve had the pleasure to work with this year. Go well.

09.01.2022 It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood. The magnolia is likely my favourite thing on the planet. Apart from my people.

08.01.2022 So I made my first ever sourdough today. I have now ordered a proving basket as it stuck to the tea towel. But it tasted great and I am up for it again. It is no work of art yet.

08.01.2022 If you're worried about having missed your newborn shoot during the Melbourne lockdown, let me put your mind at ease. Babies are always beautiful to capture. Whether they're 12 hours old, or 12 weeks.

08.01.2022 Melbourne is out of lockdown and summer is almost here. There's excitement in the air. Happy Sunday beautiful humans!

07.01.2022 Check your inbox mamma-to-be!

07.01.2022 Before we went into Stage 4 I captured this beautiful family outside their home for a #doortrait project. I wonder if you, like me, have begun to notice all the beauty in your neighbourhood. Today on my own walk I took notice of the emergence of spring with all its soft beauty. As doors and windows were flung open to capture the spring air I heard the laughter and voices of my neighbours. I saw families outside while cars were left abandoned along the streets. And I thought to myself, there is a gift amongst this curse. The great pause. I am planning for more doortrait sessions when stage 4 ends.

05.01.2022 Two highly commended certificates for my two entries into the Mono Awards today. They tell me it means I made it to the second shortlist which is very encouraging.

05.01.2022 Great news and thank you to all my friends, family and families who signed the petition. Outdoor photography is on! I will be in touch with all my families in the next two days to talk dates. I can’t enter your property but we can meet in parks or in your front garden. I can’t wait to finally capture 2020 for you!

03.01.2022 Hanging up the camera straps once again. (But will keep documenting this time in history as best as I can.) There's a heaviness that has settled over Melbourne. Juggling work and children and with no support (my lawns will threaten to overwhelm us if this virus doesn't). I am not sure how we will do it, but only that we will because there is no other choice. Melbourne I love you. Let's look after each other. Ready?

02.01.2022 My last lockdown baby! And he was sooo worth the wait! And the location was crazy beautiful too.

01.01.2022 Pippi is mask ready.
