22.01.2022 Did you borrow some puzzles from toy library? Did you know that solving puzzles can help distress? One key reason is that it allows you to be present, ie. focusing on only one thing. This helps keep your mind off other stressful things. Another reason is that solving puzzles can increase our brain’s production of dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that regulates mood and feelings of optimism. So every time you get 1 puzzle in the right place, it makes us happy and encou...rages us to challenge ourselves to continue working on solving it. 02.01.2022 Some helpful advice and links from Toy Library Australia regarding the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in relation to toy libraries in general. At this stage the Upper Beaconsfield Toy Library will remain open and will be guided by the Australian Government Department of Health recommendations. Our NEW HOURS are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday ... 9.30am to 2.30pm Members will be notified of any operational changes
