23.01.2022 An adaption of the Friends of Ten game and the largest total wins!!

21.01.2022 The Rainbow Fish Splash went Rainbow Fish when he swam past little blue fish. All the fish liked his sparkly scales. Looking around, the fish wanted one little scale. When Rainbow Fish did not share, the other fish did not like him. Rainbow Fish found the octopus’s dark cave. The wise octopus said give one scale to all fish and you will feel happy.... The next day Rainbow Fish gave away one scale each. Everyone was happy because they are all shiny. By A.D. Kindy See more

18.01.2022 Maths rotations. Using dice and our new blocks to add. Roll 2 dice, make the numbers with blocks and add together. We were even using the 2 blocks to count by 2s. Well done

17.01.2022 This week K/1P created some imaginative writing texts based off the story The Rainbow Fish. They used a sizzling start, synonyms and adjectives to extend their writing. Well done. :)

17.01.2022 Kindness lives in the hearts of our students.

16.01.2022 What fun we have in our learning in K/1P. We played word bowling to make our sight words and we used our letter cards to make our words. Hapy learners :)

16.01.2022 The Rainbow Fish Look at him, he is the most beautiful fish in the entire ocean. All the fish admired his shiny scales. Everywhere Rainbow Fish went all of the fish followed him. One day out in the deep blue sea, little blue fish was first to ask for a glittery scale. Rainbow fish did not want to share his beautiful scales. Sadly, all of the fish started to ignore him. He went from being the most beautiful to the loneliest fish. He wanted to keep his glittery scales so he ...is the sparkliest fish in the sea. Rainbow Fish asked starfish why do they all not like me? Swimming as fast as he could to the deep dark cave to ask the wise octopus for advice. Rainbow Fish wanted to know how to make the fish like him. The octopus emerged from the darkness and replied you will discover happiness when you share your scales. Feeling confused Rainbow Fish wondered how he could be happy or special without his beautiful sparkly scales. Bravely, Rainbow Fish gave all of his prized possessions away. The fish were very thankful and happy. All of the fish were glittering together in the sea. Happily, Rainbow Fish realised by making others happy it made him happy. By A.D. Year 1 See more

16.01.2022 Having fun learning our measurement unit: length.

12.01.2022 The Rainbow Fish Splash, splash goes the water as Rainbow Fish swims up and down. The other fish followed him everywhere. Swimming away from the fish, Rainbow Fish was not liked by anyone because he did not share. He wanted to keep his sparkly scales himself. Quickly, Rainbow Fish swam to the wise octopus’s cave to ask advice. "Guess what?" He said, "you need to give each fish a shimmery scale."... Suddenly, Rainbow Fish had given away his prized possessions. All fish were beautiful now and best friends. By H.M. Kindy See more

12.01.2022 Today in K/1P we coded our blue bots to skip count by 2s, 5s and 10s on the hundred chart mat. The students enjoyed using their thinking skills to figure out how many times they would need to code for it to move each place and what number it would need to land on next.

11.01.2022 Today we had a special visit from Healthy Harold and Leanne. K/1P had so much fun learning about how to keep our bodies healthy :)

08.01.2022 Today in K/1P we made our own rainbow fish from our story. We cut out coloured paper to make scales and used the overlapping technique to make scales. After that we stuck on some glittery tape to make his sparkly scales. They look great. :)

06.01.2022 Using our new clip together letter pieces to make words and practice our alphabet

06.01.2022 Maths revision rotations: We used dominoes to revise adding (add the 2 numbers on the dominoes together), we also revised number and colour patterns, plus using dominoes is always good subitising practice :) we had busy little maths learners in K/1P today

04.01.2022 Today K-6 started their 10 day Intensive Swim Program. The program is aimed at teaching survival skills, water confidence, learn to swim and stroke correction. Happy swimmers :)

03.01.2022 We LOVE Healthy Harold!!!! Sadly, our Year 6 students had to say their final goodbyes to Harold. However, they have 7 years of fond memories of Harold to look back on.

03.01.2022 KINDY independent sentences from picture prompt

02.01.2022 Maths rotations: 10 frame and friends of 10 revision. Using playdough, roll 10 balls and fill up the 10 frame, then roll one die and take away the number by squashing down the balls. Students say the maths problem for instant recall, 10-7=3. So much fun while learning
