07.01.2022 A message from the President Good afternoon coaches, managers, volunteers and parent's Firstly let me introduce my self, My name is Matthew Burgess and I am the newly appointed President for the Upper Swan Junior Football club for the 2021 season. I have been involved in the club for the past for the past 6 years and I am a very passionate club person having played my junior football at the club in the 90's.... I would like to thank all the Coaches, mangers, volunteers and parent's for their contributions throughout this very trying and different 2020 season. I would like to think it's definitely one none of us will soon forget. The passion and morals that all our club volunteers have really shows and i would like to commend everyone of you, as you are the one's passing that on to all of the boys and girls that you are involved in. Its has really shone through with our club having very minimal on and off field incidents through the 2020 season. The club had three youth teams making it through to the grand finals this season with one winning and 2 being runners up, with that and the minimal incidents combined, it has lead to the Upper Swan JFC have been awarded the 2020 Metro Central Swan District Champion club youth award. All respective coaches, managers, volunteers and parent's should be very proud of there efforts this year. To all the volunteers and players that aren't returning for the 2021 season, I would like to thank you for all the effort and sacrifice you have made for our club this year. I wish you all the best for your future endeavours. To all the returning coaches, managers and volunteers I look forward to working with you all throughout the 2021 season I personally would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
