21.01.2022 One of the highlights of the ANZAC march & service every year are the Upper Yarra Secondary College Captains speeches. Unfortunately due to the current situation, this year's Captains were unable to speak at the service. Ashlee Shotter - 2020 captain, and a great supporter of Upper Yarra RSL, has recorded the speech she would have made at this year's service, and as in past years it is wonderful!

At this stage we haven't set a re-opening date, as the renovations aren't finished and we have a lot of planning, re-stocking and cleaning to complete. We will keep you up to date via this page and the website. We can't wait to see you, and we'll be working very hard to have everything in place as soon as possible!

11.01.2022 It was great to see an easing of restrictions for rural Victoria this week and we have our fingers and toes crossed that metro Melbourne restrictions are lifted ahead of schedule too, so we can all start to live a little. It will be fantastic to see all your happy faces again. How great will it be when we can catch up with friends and family for a nice meal and chat. We will let you know as soon as we can about our plans for re-opening. Until then, we hope you're all healthy and coping well in these strange times. Take care and stay safe.

09.01.2022 We're back in business! We will re-open on Wednesday the 9th of December. Details are outlined below regarding changes in regulations and the required use of QR... codes. We currently have a reduced capacity in the bistro so it's a great idea to plan ahead and book early. Large bookings may be required to pay a deposit. 08.01.2022 Construction is in it's final stages at the Sub-Branch. While we are so excited about the new build, unfortunately the playground has been impacted and will not be accessible for the next week. For the safety of your children we ask that you do not use the playground at this time.

08.01.2022 Unfortunately we will be closed from July 9th due to the reintroduction of Stage 3 restrictions. Thank you to everyone who has been and visited over the past month, your support has been greatly appreciated. We aim to be up and running again as soon as the restrictions are eased some time in August. We will keep you posted as things develop. We look forward to seeing you again soon, stay safe!

07.01.2022 We are so excited!! Our bistro will be re-opening from 5pm on Friday June 11th. Our temporary trading hours will be 12pm to 9.30pm 7 days a week. At this time, gaming remains closed and some restrictions are still in place. We have our fingers and toes crossed that we return to business as usual next week, but until then please take special note of the following: *There is a cap of 10 people per booking... *There is a cap of 50 patrons in the venue *Services Vic QR code sign in is now mandatory *Face masks must be worn at all times when moving about in the venue. We will be taking bookings from 10am tomorrow on 5967 1771. We look forward to seeing you again soon

07.01.2022 Well, when it doesn't rain it pours! (Pun intended ) Unfortunately, the storms and loss of power have now prevented us from reopening tomorrow, and possibly not until Monday! 06.01.2022 Hi all! What a fabulous week we have had! It's so good to see new and familiar faces back at the Sub Branch. We have a couple of announcements to make:... Tomorrow night is final Members night for 2020. We will be having some Christmas raffles, but our final Members cash draw has been postponed until early next year to give ALL members the opportunity to attend and have a chance to win. With number restrictions in place and the venue booking out really quickly we felt it wouldn't be fair to hold it at the moment. We will let you know closer to the date, but possibly first members night 2021 (restrictions permitting). Memberships expire on 31st December 2020, and are due for renewal now. If paid prior to 21st December you will be entered into the statewide draw for a new car! Check with our staff whether you are due to pay (3 year memberships may not be due). New members always welcome! The Sub Branch will be closed on Christmas Day & New Year's Day, opening hours for all other days are 12pm to 10pm, Bistro opens at 12pm & 5.30pm. OPEN 7 DAYS Please remember bookings are essential, as due to restrictions we have reduced seating available. We hate turning people away! Call 59671771 to book.
