21.01.2022 Hanging swamps are one of the most precious vegetation types in the Blue Mountains. . Unfortunately this one got shredded by a couple of motorbikes in one afternoon many years ago and the remaining carnage became walking and biking trails. . This morning these tracks were blocked off and a swamp bypass track put in through less sensitive vegetation.... . More work is required to ensure people keep off the swamp but this is a great start! 20.01.2022 Most definitely #bikeoftheweek This beautiful @yeticycles SB150 is now ready for some gravity assisted shredding. Customer was having some issues with brakes and suspecting it was time for new pads. In reality, the pads were fine. The caliper pistons had become quite lazy and both brakes needed a bleed. After giving it a detailed service including some TLC on those calipers it's now got monsterous amounts of braking power again, is shifting crisp and has wheels with much nicer spoke tensions- ready to get roudy!

19.01.2022 Buttery smooth actuation, outrageous amounts of drop (210mm shown here), low stack heights and easily servicable with replacement parts available- Awesome! . @oneupcomponents definitely know what's up (or down in this case!) . Get that seat down and get rowdy!

All three have been replaced with there cassettes, brakes and tyres transferred from old to new. And of course the bikes have had a once over and a good wash. See more

This large tree came down after last week's wild weather and there'll certainly be more trees down with the extreme weather currently ripping through the state. You can let @uppermountainbikes know about trail problems like these, and we'll ensure the right people are notified to get things fixed up ASAP!

Every full service with UMTB receives a complimentary bike report including serial number and identifying features, as well as a clear photo of your bike at the completion of service. 07.01.2022 Must have been quite the jump to snap this rear axle in half...! . While this was the customers only complaint, the rim was also a bit more than warped, so it got a once over after a new axle was installed.

06.01.2022 Just some of the consumables and accessories in stock at UMTB. . Bike Milk is the 'waxiest' lube short of actually waxing your chain. Really excellent at keeping gunk off you chain. . Stan's is basically the absolute standard for tubeless sealant.... . Kool Stop brake pads provide more stopping power than many standard brand pads (though we can get those too if you want!) . Cushcore protects your rims, keeps your tyre stable even with low pressures and increases available grip. .
