23.01.2022 Wishing all of our clients and their pets a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The clinic will be closed from Wednesday the 25th and will reopen on Monday the 30th. So if you need any ongoing medications, please get in early so you aren't left without.

22.01.2022 After yesterday’s announcement by the Victorian government, Veterinary services have been deemed an essential service and we will remain open during the stage 4 restrictions. For veterinary care or collections of supplies from a veterinary clinic, clients may travel more than 5km from their home. (Please continue to call ahead for medication and food)... If clients are traveling further than a 5km radius from home we can send a text message to you with your appointment details which can be used as evidence as necessary travel from your home. (Please ask for this when booking your appointment) Stay safe!

04.01.2022 Lilies are extremely toxic to cats. The entire plant is toxic. Ingesting any part of the plant can cause complete kidney failure within 36-72 hours. The toxicity may occur by ingestion of, or by mouthing, very small amounts of lily material or even just drinking the water they sit in.

01.01.2022 COVID-19 ADVICE Admist the current situation, UYVC remains open and will still be treating pets and assisting with veterinary needs. However we will be implementing a few precautionary measures in our bid to help reduce the spread in order to keep our clients and staff as safe as possible. 1. Please limit people visiting the clinic to one person at a time if possible... 2. Maintain recommended social distancing practises or 1.5m and restrict any unnecessary contact such as hugging, hand shaking etc. 3. Please inform us over the phone if you are unwell and we will do our best to accommodate you with helping your pet 4. Please call us on 59 671 669 if you need to pick up any medications for your pet and we will ensure we have them ready for you on arrival, so as to minimise the time you need to be waiting in the reception area. 5. Please alert us (preferably over the phone) if you have travelled overseer recently. We will try to make arrangement to see your pet outside of the clinic. 6. Parents please do not allow you children to free range, ask them to stay with you at all times. Please note that there is no current evidence that our pets can transmit or carry COVID-19. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
